Not far is Ennerdale Water, Loweswater and Crummock Water, renowned for their superb walking routes, cycling, fishing and wildlife watching, while the Cumbrian coast, local shops, pubs and historic harbour towns such as Whitehaven and Cockermouth offer plenty more to explore. Local pub is just a 5 minute walk away.
