This 1 bedroom/1 bath oceanfront condo is the perfect St. Augustine getaway for a romantic couple or small family! Guests never want to leave the balcony with its top-floor view of the Atlantic Ocean, the beach, and the oceanfront swimming pool. Inside, the living area has a new queen sleeper sofa and new dinette table and chairs. If the ocean isn’t enough, you can enjoy high-speed wireless Internet access, flat-screen cable TV with HD channels, and a smart DVD player. The compact kitchenette has a small smooth-top stove, microwave, refrigerator, and Mr Coffee-style coffeemaker, and is stocked with plates/glasses, pots/pans, and utensils. Relax in the bedroom with a king bed with a glimpse of the Intracoastal Waterway and flat-screen cable TV with HD channels. Linens and towels provided.


Beacher’s Lodge is a condo-hotel on Anastasia Island in an area known as Crescent Beach, which features a smooth white sandy beach, perfect for walking and playing in the waves, yet just 9 miles south of St Augustine’s historic district. Beacher’s Lodge amenities include private beach walkway, heated oceanfront pool, picnic/grilling area, washer/dryer on premises (not in the condo), and ramp/elevator access from the spacious parking lot. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

Wonderful beach stay

I didn't have a car and while I could walk to a convenience store, pizza place and ice cream bar, a car is needed, so they should not say a car is not needed in the ad.

Wonderful place to stay

We had a great stay and would happily stay again in this condo. It was clean, stocked with everything we needed and of course offered an amazing view! The complex is nice and quiet with easy beach access. Highly recommend staying here!

The location is fabulous. I loved the balcony view. Plenty of room for myself and 2 small fur babies. If you are taking your dog, just know that the pet area is clear on the other side of the complex and it’s artificial turf but that’s a trade off I made to have the view.It is a bit outdated, but that’s more aesthetics. The kitchen has very basic supplies but since there’s no dishwasher that was alright bc who wants to wash dishes on vacation? It could use a good deep cleaning bc there are cobwebs in some of the corners but it’s still clean.The sheets are not cotton. This might not seem like a big deal but if you radiate heat when you sleep, it is a big deal since fabrics other than cotton tend to hold the heat in. Also, the AC units are a bit loud and put off a bit of a stale cigarette smell. The smell does seem to dissipate or I got use to it, not sure which.It was a good fit for us for a quick getaway. I only mention those few things for people looking for a more modern or luxurious getaway.

That view! Wonderful stay!

This condo at Beachers Lodge provided everything needed for a great 6 day stay. A/c was on point! The condo is nice enough but the balcony and the view are what make this unit amazing. The beach is incredible. If you have a 4 wheel drive pay a little and drive right onto the beach via the ramp right next door. You'll find yourself constantly mesmerized with the 4th floor view of the beautiful beach from the room! Beach access is a simple walk across the wooden walkway from the pool area, but use the ramp neighboring beachers lodge if you want to take a beach cart along due to the stairs on the walkway. We had our small dog along which made it perfect. Dining is somehwat limited in this immediate area so you have to drive a ways north for the better options but not too far. Hotel parking was plentiful and fine. St augustine was a bit more packed than we hoped at times but fun nonetheless and returning to the calmness further south at the condo and chilling on the beach or balcony was so nice and the beach was the whole focus of our trip in lieu of shopping, etc. Check in was effortless, the room was nice, and we are beyond satisfied with our vacation 2025!

Nice place but

When we arrived we had to clean it. Once it was clean it was okay. Bed is uncomfortable to sleep on. Foam topper is sideways and under mattress cover. Bathroom needs updating but functional. Easy access to the beach. Loved that the beach was easy to walk on.

Not a comfortable seat to be found!

Everything you needed except a comfortable chair, couch or bed. The patio furniture which would be a perfect spot to sit and have coffee, watch the sunrise, we’re hard plastic bar height chairs! The AC in the bedroom was not efficient or effective and the room remained warm day and night.

They have recently done many exterior updates the the building, looks almost new. Interior looks old, original, kitchen cabinets in poor shape, knobs came off when opened. Fridge has rust on front door. bath faucets constantly drips. Xfinity tv box had to be rebooted every single time we turned on tv, real pain! Furniture very old & uncomfortable.

The furniture in the living was very uncomfortable, the tiny little table to eat on was just not useable, and the tall furniture on the balcony totally obscured our view of the beach. When we went to open a kitchen cabinet the knob fell right off. The bed was comfortable, but that's about the only good thing I have to say. We'll probably stay at Beacher's again in the future, but I would NOT stay in this unit again.

But: Lots of problems with the TV (some were never resolved). The sofa pretty much broken down an extremely uncomfortable. Only one chair in the living room. The unit is very small and not well lit. Some kitchen appliance lights not working. The unit just needs a LOT of repair and updating.

Beautiful view, unit not well kept.

No shampoo, no beach towels, no Kleenex/tissues provided. Old food from previous guests left in the cupboard that can attract pests. Old, highly used, smelly sponge left by the sink. A used bottle (nearly empty) of dish soap was all that was provided to wash the dishes. No hand soap. Smoke detector just sitting on a shelf (not installed) with a low battery beeping. So I had to remove the battery. Several bulbs out in light fixtures. The previous guest’s paperwork was left sitting out as well as misc items behind the nightstands. Obviously housekeeping does a sub par job. Yikes. Beautiful view. Beautiful beach. Parking was easy.

We found both the office and the condo very easily. The pros: location, location and view. We were very happy with both of these. The pool was also nice, though it can get pretty crowded, it was clean with a bathroom and water filling station near by. Water was a great temperature. The condo itself was clean and there were plenty of bath towels for 2 people and the bed was comfortable. There was not much noice from neighboring condos and that was nice. The only real con we experienced is this condo could REALLY use some updating and some areas could use a deep clean. The bedroom is also on the side of the condo where everyone walks, so leaving the curtain open for natural light feel weird as anyone who walks b can look into the bedroom (this just is what it is, just giving you more information). We would stay here again, as the price was perfect for what we got.

Beautiful view & easy access to the beach but the condo itself is older & has maintenance issues. The toilet seat was broken when we arrived, the bottom of the fridge was actually rusted, the ceiling light in the bedroom flickers with a loose switch, the light under microwave is inoperable & the "new" couch creaks. Additionally the floor & couch were covered in sand when we got there & they left us 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for a 5 days stay. On the plus side, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was hot with good pressure & the a/c worked great. Property manager was not responsive to pre-arrival texts & had to be called the day of our arrival to arrange for after hours pickup.

The unit could use a makeover, especially the toilet. Also if I’m paying a cleaning fee, I don’t expect to be taking out the trash and doing the dishes (there was no dishwasher). This is becoming more common with VRBO.

We were a bit disappointed. It was very outdated and didn't seem real clean. We saw spider webs in some corners, especially on the balcony. The bathroom sink was leaking, certain outlets weren't working. It was a very small unit, I cant ever see 4 people fitting. A lot of this would be an easy fix if you took the time.

The room was perfect size for two people love the top floor and ocean views. Definitely needs to be updated. Furniture,rugs in the bathroom and kitchen, Definitely need to be changed out. As for the cleanliness, not too bad for a vacation rental Everything around the bottom of the condo was pretty dirty, but like I said a good paint job would take care of a lot of it but for the price I guess I can’t complain too much.

The toilet is very low. Hard to get off. It's not handicap assessable. Only one elevator was working and they were having problems with the other elevator. That's the reason I chose this place to stay because I can't do stairs.
