Walk to Canyon Lodge | Noble Nest + Hot Tub/Sauna + 2-Car Garage
If you love the Canyon Lodge area but don’t love cramped, dated condos—Noble Nest is your answer.
Set in Sonenalp, a boutique building with only four residences, this first-floor home feels more like a private mountain retreat than a typical condo. The layout is spacious and practical for real vacations: gathering space where everyone can hang out, and bedrooms that let people actually sleep.
Inside you’ll find: • A warm, open living area with a gas fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating • A gourmet kitchen with granite counters and generous prep space (easy for family breakfasts or après snacks) • Three bedrooms that work especially well for mixed groups: one king, one queen, and a queen/twin bunkroom • Multiple bathrooms for smoother mornings and post-ski resets • In-unit laundry, integrated humidifier heat, and fast Wi-Fi
Outside, the lifestyle is pure Mammoth: A hot tub + sauna just steps away (shared with one neighboring Sonenalp condo) On-site ski & gear storage so you’re not dragging equipment through the living room Two reserved underground garage spaces (high-clearance), plus easy access to Canyon Lodge, the gondola, and town transit
Traveling with a bigger crew? Noble Nest adjoins Mammoth Moose (Sonenalp 1). Book both as the first-floor combo for a true “together-but-separate” setup—great for extended family trips and friend groups.
Please note: • Mammoth Lakes homes do not have air conditioning due to the naturally cool alpine climate. • 4WD vehicles and/or chains may be required during winter storms. • Guests must sign a personalized rental agreement within 24 hours of booking. • A 3% credit card processing fee applies to guest-initiated refunded cancellations. • 2 grills are shared by the 4 Sonenalp condos • Spa maintenance occurs routinely

The condo is extremely clean and well maintained. Nice sheets and towels and the hot tub is also a plus. The common areas and bedrooms are a good size. We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

We loved our stay at this condo! Very nice and clean, much nicer than your average Mammoth condo. And the location is fantastic. Just a short walk from the lifts. Highly recommend!

In celebrating a significant birthday we wanted to stay at this property once again. It certainly was the right decision due to the accommodation and proximity to Mammoth Mountain. Very comfortable location.

This was home away from home! Marybeth was a gracious hostess. The unit was comfortable, well appointed, clean and provided all the essentials for a great family gathering. Highly recommend any property Marybeth hosts, she is awesome!

Check in was easy, rooms were clean, baths were clean. Plenty of room for my wife and I and our two adult children and their spouses. Kitchen and dining room made for a nice get together area.

We came up with friends and our 2 kids (4+2) for their first time skiing. The condo was perfect and just what we needed. The location to the mountain couldn't be better, and we loved the hot tub after skiing all day. We'll definitely be back!

Families with kids really love being so close to the mountain. Not too far for those tiny little legs to make it back home for an afternoon snack and rest! Look forward to hosting you again sometime.

Cozy, comfortable & convenient high end condo!
A wonderfully appointed and amazing condo right at Canyon Lodge perfect for two families to share. The hot tub and sauna are wonderful after skiing. It is a short walk to Canyon Lodge, so driving is not required once you arrive. The underground parking is also extremely convenient after a snow. Additionally, Mary Beth is an amazing host. We found her to be very accessible, knowledgeable of the local area and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Thanks, Todd for your great review. Looking forward to having you stay at Sonenalp again.
The place was very nice. Furnishing were great. We had an issue with neighbors using the jacuzzi until very late but they left after a couple of nights. The only minor complaint is that the minimal pots, pans and cookware. Given the number the place can slerp, at full capacity, the pkace would need a couple more pota and pans.

Wonderful condo
Great condo. Awesome location. Steps to the lifts at Canyon Lodge. Easy 15 minute walk to the village. The owner Mary Beth was super helpful and responsive. There were a couple of essentials that weren’t in the condo and she made sure they were by the next morning. We will definitely return. Thanks!!

Like living on first story apartment when in college
Nice property but they dont tell you its on the first story and you will have people above you. A family stayed above us when we were there and you could hear every step and every word the entire time. If they pulled the chair out from the table the screech is heard throughout your place. Nice place but my college days are over and i want to be in peace when i am on vacation.
We loved our stay here. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked and the place was cozy. We loved winding down each post-skiing/boarding day in the hot tub while it continued to snow. Management was very responsive when we had questions and was available by text. One thing I really loved was that the garage is high so I was able to park our van with rooftop pod inside without any issue at all. This was so convenient! Canyon Lodge is a short walk up the hill and we had so much snow that we actually were able to ski down to the condo after our day at Mammoth was done. We loved it and would love to stay here again.

Thank you so much! We would love to host you again. So happy you enjoyed your time.
We packed our bags and my service dog and off we went for a week in beautiful Mammoth Lakes and Sonenalp 2 our home for a week. Marybeth was top notch, answered all our questions in a snap and made it happen.
The condo is very comfortable, nicely furnished, large, well supplied kitchen and more.
The only issue was it was hot inside with no ceiling fans and the air got heavy and stale at times but Marybeth offered fans which helped. The condo is centrally located for getting to all the fun attractions in Mammoth. We definitely would stay there again.

Perfect couples getaway
We are 6 friends (3 couples) who came to Mammoth for the 1st time to attend a wedding. Mary Beth's home was the perfect place to stay - close to everything and beautiful to relax in! From start to finish working with Mary Beth was easy. She responded to my questions before we came and quickly addressed a couple of questions (even though she was on vacation) while we were in residence. The home is beautifully appointed and was spotless. The underground parking is spacious and a real bonus - I can't even imagine what a difference it would make in winter! If I ever get back to Mammoth this would be my first choice of rentals. It is VERY reasonable and great for couples, a girls getaway or family vacation:)
Thanks so much Mary Beth for making this available and for being so accommodating!

Enjoyed our stay.
This is a very spacious main floor condo walking distance to Canyon Lodge. It is located very close to the village, and it was very easy to get around from this location. There are 2 bus stops very close that will take you to the village in minutes (or up to Canyon Lodge if you really didn't want to walk). Everything in the Condo is in excellent condition. We stayed here with 4 adults and 2 children. All the appliances, utensils, plates were newer and good quality. There were lots of pots and pans, glasses etc for everyone to use and cook with, could use a few extra kitchen towels and pot holders etc.. Even though the snow was piled high around the condo, every thing was warm, the gas fireplaces gave off a lot of heat, in addition to the heater. There is a outdoor spa that is kept very warm, and the sauna worked well and was clean and in very nice condition. Everything was exceptionally clean. Some maintenance issues did come up during our stay, but were handled quickly. The parking garage was clean and spacious, very nice to have since parking on the street fills up. There is a nice open space between the apartments to have a huge area to play in the snow right outside, and sleds that the kids could borrow.

Gosh, Nancy, what a thorough and careful review! I really appreciate you taking the time to give future guests an idea of how perfect our location is (very close, easy to get around), and how "excellent" you found the Noble Nest to be. You are right that the garage is such a nice asset to our building! And I love sitting in the hot tub while my kids play in that huge snow-covered back garden! Would love to host you again in one of our Sonenalp homes.
My family and I had a blast at this condo for my son's 2nd birthday! The location was prime and the cozy aesthetic made it hard to leave! Definitely will be staying here again whenever it's available.
