An ideal spot for skiing and being cozy. Walking Distance to Eagle Lodge and the mountain with all the amenities our two families needed. Very attentive management for the small questions we had. Big tv’s for cozy Apres Ski movie nights with kids.

Thanks so much for staying with Mammoth Five Star Lodging! We hope you will think of us again for your next visit!
This is a great place that accommodated our sleeping needs. A friend and myself brought our sons up for some mountain biking and the accommodations were perfect. It allowed both he and I to have our own rooms while our 3 sons could each have their own beds.
I’d like the proper to where to clean where convenient easy to communicate with the management and very decent price next time I use this property again
Except a couple of dirty sheets, overall it was good

We are so sorry you were inconvenienced during your stay! We always strive to make every guest stay as perfect as possible, inspecting every property twice between every departure/arrival. Our staff are human of course, and so even if we hit 95%, that still leaves some issues from time to time for guests to contend with.
Unfortunately, this guest never contacted our office to give us an opportunity to correct any of this issue. If you have trouble during your stay, I encourage you to contact your VR manager while you are in the property, as they may well be prepared to handle your concerns. We have 18 full time staff members in our housekeeping, maintenance and guest services departments who we can call upon to resolve problems. If this happens, or if you are concerned about problems with a unit you are considering, please call our offices at Mammoth Five Star Lodging. We have staff available by phone or email, 7 days/week, 9am-6pm (Pacific) to ensure you book exactly the property you want and to address issues that may come up during your stay. We are happy to help if you will just give us the chance.

Everything was perfect besides having to walk up the stairs after a long day of snowboarding, other than that we would definitely keep it in mind for our future stays in Mammoth. Was close to the mountain and we had an amazing time!

It's not ski on ski off it's walk up too like 5 minutes from house to slope eagles
We loved how the house looked. It's just like it's pictures the only thing we will say is we wanted an actual ski on ski off and this one we had to like walk to the ski lift but that's ok . Thanks for everything
You can’t beat this location walking distance to Eagle. The unit looks recently updated. The beds were very comfortable. Only reason giving it 4 stars over 5 Iis the kitchen could use a few more essentials like potholders. Other than that this was a great place to stay for our party of 8 people.

Thanks so much for staying with Mammoth Five Star Lodging! We hope you will think of us again for your next visit! We have provided more potholders in the kitchen since this guest has stayed with us.
Sauna was broken, hot tub out of commission, pool unclean. The unit itself was clean and fairly comfortable just don't expect any of the amenities above and beware the chore list and individual cash penalties if you miss any
Property was very clean and was completely redone. Truly and 5 min walk to Eagle (in ski boots) which is not always the case with other places I have stayed. Another call out was the showers got very hot and the water pressure was awesome, which is nice after a day on the slopes. The only small issue was the fireplace was waiting for a part so that was out for the trip. Five Star lodging did rush over some space heaters and they were great to work with.

Thank you so much for the feedback about incomplete repairs in the unit. We are aware of the situation. Mammoth Lakes is a very small town, population 7000, in a remote, 9000 mountain locale; approximately 150 miles from the nearest city (Carson City, NV). When we have to contract repair work out to local vendors, the delays in their schedule or in receiving parts can be quite lengthy. Window glass and screens, appliances, furniture repairs, etc. can all take weeks here, as opposed to the days they may take in a city.
Mammoth Five Star Lodging employs our own team of maintenance technicians (maintaining the highest staff to unit ratio of any manager in Mammoth) so that we can effect most repairs ourselves, in a timely fashion. Occasionally we encounter a problem that is beyond our scope, and we are forced to deal with vendor schedules (who are not in the hospitality business). Please know that we work hard to minimize these delays so that we can present products to you in the best possible condition for your stay.

This is by far one of the best places we have stayed. We love the convenience of being able to walk across the street to get to Eagle Lodge. Also, the place was nicely updated, kitchen well stocked, and had enough room for everyone. This would nicely fit two families. They have utilized the space in the loft well with the bunk beds. The property management is very responsive. The only suggestion we have is to add a top lock higher on the door. If you have littles that can open doors, they would be able to open the front door very easily, so a little saftey issue. Also, make sure to pull the door close because sometimes it does not shut all the way. To note, there is a separate laundry room at the end of the hall, so bring coins if you want to do laundry. Otherwise, this was a great experience and we plan to keep this place at the top of our list for future vacations at Mammoth!

Place was a good location, easy enough walk to Eagle Lodge. Boot warmers in the unit were nice. Having to carry skis up stairs and out to the deck was a pain. TV was nice. Kitchen could have been better outfitted. Sheets and pillow cases didn’t fit. Wall heaters didn’t turn off. Kitchen drawers and cabinets didn’t have pulls making opening hard. Checkout instructions were harsh.
