This gorgeous 1,100 sq ft contemporary space boasts hardwood floors, 20 ft high wooden ceilings and beams, and an interior flagstone wall. A true mountain lodge feeling!! Includes gas fireplace; granite counter tops and glass doors in the kitchen area; flagstone floor and cedar closet in the bathroom! For sleeping there are two queen sized beds, a set of handmade wooden bunk beds, and a large overstuffed sofa. Above the garage in the carriage house; it was built using sandstone from the original bank barn. Located on a 6.5 acre working farm with goats, chickens, and a donkey - beautiful scenery, vegetable and flower gardens in season! And of course central air for those warm days! Guests can participate around the farm if they wish. And campfires are available weather permitting. The hosts, Richard and Nancy, offer classes in pie-making, cheese-making, native wild flowers, gardening for children, among others. Other amenities include: TV with amazon prime, netflix, and hulu; wifi; and farm to table breakfasts can be arranged.

About the host
Hosted by Nancy J Frush

Richard and I (Nancy) have been married for many years. We have 3 grown children (plus one who passed away) and 14 grandchildren. Richard's career was in maintenance management. He is super talented with tools, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, woodworking, and can fix just about anything. He is a musician who absolutely loves to be playing his guitars - in fact, this is his favorite thing to do. He also loves our animals and the farm!
I grew up with Grandparents who were farmers. I am a naturalist and have been gardening all my life! We don't use chemicals in our garden, so our vegetables are truly fresh and pure! I thoroughly enjoy being outside, working with the soil, or hiking, or walking in the woods, and spending time with our animals. My professional career was in Human Resource Management and working with people. I am also a musician and the Director of Music at a local church. I play the piano, the organ, and sing!!! Music is the universal language and speaks to everyone!
Richard and I both love to be with others and enjoy sharing our beautiful space with guests. Many people that have stayed here with us have become good friends. We are meant to be immersed in living. Loving life!
