16 Sandals is a beautifully decorated Seacliffs townhome with expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico. 16 Sandals has 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and sleeps 8.
There are 2 master suites, a queen suite and a suite with 2 twin beds. Each suite has its own bathroom. There is also a 1/2 bath off the kitchen. Each of the master suites has a large balcony with seating to enjoy the views and spectacular sunsets!
The top floor has the kitchen, dining area and living room.
Don't worry about getting your groceries up the stairs! 16 Sandals has an elevator that stops on all floors!
16 Sandals has been updated with Cortec flooring throughout and new carpeting on the stairs.
There is a full sized washer and dryer on the ground floor.
16 Sandals also has a garage- making storing your beach toys and kayaks a breeze. The garage has an extra refrigerator for extra beverages- cooler reloads for the beach without going upstairs!
16 Sandals provides 4 beach chairs and a beach cart.
There is also a gas grill for your use.

We had a wonderful stay. Loved the views, and all the beach accessories. The only recommendations we have are to add some towel racks in the queen guest room and an improved mattress. The kitchen was well equipped, the grill downstairs was great, and we loved the garage area with beer fridge.

Relaxing week on the Cape

Our family had a wonderful week on Cape San Blas. Condo and location were perfect for our family. Condo was clean and lovely decor. Appreciated the elevator! It was a short walk to the beach which is where we spent most of our time! Would stay there again for sure.

A Great Family Vacation

Our first time to Cape San Blas for a family vacation. The location was perfect, the grounds were beautiful, the accommodations were adequate for our family. Having bathrooms in each bedroom were so nice, the garage with storage room was spacious, and the beach chairs, cart, and toys came in handy. The home was beautifully decorated giving an overall beach atmosphere and the views were breathtaking especially with the sunrise on one side and the sunset on the other. The wi-fi/internet were a little sketchy but we were aware of this prior to our stay. The elevator was a nice addition helping us get our belongings and groceries up to the appropriate floor and the beds were nice and comfortable with extra pillows and blankets in the closets. My son-in-law enjoyed fishing on the beach, my grandchildren enjoyed the pool and beach, and my husband and I enjoyed strolling along the beach looking for treasures. The host was very easy to work with and was prompt in answering all my questions. It was a great family vacation and we definitely will be back again.

Well-equipped Place!

Our stay went very well. The unit comes equipped with lots of beach gear (wagon, boogie boards, chairs, toys, etc) and is an easy walk to the beach. Any complaints we had were minor and nit-picky. We didn’t use the grill, but were glad to have it as an option. Highly recommend!

We had a fun week on the beach. The condo had most everything that we needed. I especially liked having the extra refrigerator/freezer in the garage because we brought a lot of food. We enjoyed seeing the sunrise on the bay from the kitchen window. It would have been nice to have more than one towel per person also there were no pillow cases for the extra pillows

Beautiful sunset view!

Balcony was perfect for morning coffee and evening sunset. 16 Sandals was clean and nicely furnished. Plenty of space and great to have a full bathroom in each bedroom plus half bath off kitchen. Easy, flat walk to the gorgeous beach. Lots of steps but thank goodness the elevator worked perfectly to get to the 4th floor kitchen / living room.

Upon arrival, we discovered that the elevator was not working properly. Got in touch with the host by text and she said she would fill out an order for a service call but nobody ever came. Throughout our stay, the elevator only worked "hit or miss" which was a problem since one person in our party was recovering from ankle surgery. One of the reasons we chose this unit was because of the elevator. The unit smelled as if it had not been thoroughly cleaned, smelled like dogs. Several eating utensils that we got out of the kitchen drawers had food stuck to them, glassware was dirty. One of the main kitchen lights was out along with the oven light and the light over the stove. All of this made it very difficult to see in the kitchen, see into the pantry and to cook. The 3rd floor bedroom had a lamp that didn't work and lights in the bathroom were flickering and eventually went out. Several ceiling fan remotes (2) had dead batteries so we were unable to operate the ceiling fans in those bedrooms. The shower on the 2nd floor barely drained and water was backing up in the shower. There was no towel bar in the small 3rd floor bathroom (last year the towelbar in this same bathroom was broken). The grill outside had not been cleaned which caused a small grease fire while grilling our first night. This is our 3rd year of staying in this unit and this was our worst experience. Well below standards.

The location was great. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool. We were disappointed with the pet hair on the sides of the furniture and on the bath mats. There were problems with the dining room light-flickered, so we left it off. The AC worked great. We had a fun family time, but we won’t stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay with some issues

The location and proximity to the beach were great. We did have some issues. There were no towels or washcloths in a bathroom for one of the bedrooms as well as no towels in the bathroom off the kitchen. I contacted the property manager. We did not get the towels after requesting them on the day of the arrival. When I contacted her again the following day she told me of a key to a supply closet to get some towels. The key wasn’t where she said it was and I only found it by going on a scavenger hunt through the condo. I found towels but only one washcloth for my daughter and her husband. Upkeep and cleanliness seemed somewhat of an issue. The dispenser chute for the refrigerator’s ice maker was moldy, so we didn’t use it. There was a wad of someone’s hair wrapped around one of the coffee cups, and I also found a lock of hair mixed with dust in my bed. Blood was found on a pillow and bedspread. The locks on at least one of the balcony’s doors would not lock. There were some beach chairs in a storage room in the garage, which was good. There was a group of beach umbrellas in a can in the storage room. Some but not all worked, and there were a number of parts of poles in there which were pretty much impossible to figure out how to use. There were five boogie boards, all of which were broken. We were instructed to put the white towels in the washing machine and start it when we left, but we could not find any detergent. We ended up using detergent that we bought.

Christmas at the Cape Started Off Rough but Ended Well

Our vacation didn't start off the best. We arrived at the condo on Christmas Eve and found out the condo didn't have any water. The water company had turned off water pressure to the area and we didn't know this until we arrived at the condo. We would have delayed our trip by two days if we had known the condo did not have water! You don't go on vacation to a condo that doesn't have water! We did not have water for 3 days and the management company only responded by text each day that it would be turned on soon. If you plan on vacationing to the area in the winter when there is a chance of freezing weather, I would call before you leave home to see if the condo has water. People in the complex were getting water out of the pool to fill toilets with water. We had to go to the store to purchase water. We didn't have water to drink with, cook with, shower, or use the bathroom with. Water is very important to have when you have a large family and you are on vacation.The management company knew the water pressure to the area had been turned off and all they had to do was call and let us know. They should pay us for the money that we had to spend on water for 3 days! They never checked in with us to see if we even got water when the water company finally did turn water back on the area. The condo itself has a great location. You get a view of the ocean and a view of the bay through the trees. The beach is beautiful, but they did just dump a mound of sand in front of the sand dunes so it may be hard for some people to access the beach. You have to walk down and back up a steep mound of sand. The condo is pet friendly and is good for people who have a pet. We did not have a pet, and you can definitely tell many pets have stayed in the condo. You can find quite a bit of pet hair in areas that the cleaning company may not get every time and there is a chair in the living room that it seems many dogs have sat on. The condo did have a well stocked kitchen which was nice. The water on the refrigerator did not work, but we had plenty of water from what we had to buy. Plenty of space and room for family of 8. We couldn't get the front door to lock or unlock with the code so we ended up using the back door most of the time. The beach chairs, toys, and refrigerator in the garage were very nice to have. The kitchen is on the top floor so having the elevator was also a huge plus. The condo itself was good, but I would not recommend the management company.

We loved this unit. We have stayed at several at this location, however, this one was the most fully stocked and clean. We loved having all the beach gear in the storage room in the garage. It made our vacation super convenient, as we didnt have to pack all our beach toys or run to the store to buy them. The sunrise was visible from the rear of the unit and the sunset was visible from the front. Beautiful views! We will stay here again!

It was a beautiful place, great views. I guess I didn’t read closely enough but there are 4 floors and lots of STAIRS. There is a very small elevator but it is extremely slow and very tight fit. Not a good choice if you are disabled or have physical issues.

Beautiful

Thank you for sharing this beautiful space. Our family of 6 had plenty of space to have a relaxing trip. The bedrooms with bathrooms was a huge help. Nobody felt crowded. The beach was as far as the eye could see was beautiful. We seen so much wildlife in the water and on land. This was definitely a great place for a peaceful vacation. I have given the cleaning a 4 because a few things stuck out to me. All of the linens are white and being on a beach, I didn’t see any bleach to keep them as clean as they should be. Same with the bed sheets as the instructions read no bleach, cold water wash only. I just feel they should be cleaned in the hottest water and bleached with ever wash. Other little things don’t really bother like a few spots on the carpet area, sand on the floor, broken shelf in frig and a few locks not working on top floor are normal things that arise on a normal basis. The property manager was very attentive when we needed her for a plumbing issue and it was taken care of. Definitely would recommend if you love a beach vacation.

Perfect Place to Rest Your Head

We rented two properties for Thanksgiving since our whole family wouldn’t fit in one. We had three young couples stay here. It had a beautiful view from the 4th floor (living room/kitchen area). The property was a quick walk to the beach which was very nice and convenient, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable beach getaway. There were a few things we didn’t love about the property. Firstly there are a LOT of stairs, and a very small residential elevator, so I wouldn’t suggest renting this property if you have an elderly crowd or very young children in your group. Secondly, the condo seemed like it was starting to fall apart. There were many light bulbs out, several lamps didn’t work, and multiple outlets didn’t work. This made me concerned there could be electrical issues in the condo- so I wasn’t inclined to use the elevator. Several of the blinds also did not work, were rusted/missing wands and pull strings, broken toilet paper holders, shelves in the refrigerator hanging on by duct tape, multiple door locks were not functioning, and part of our shower’s outside plastic was even falling off. The home also didn’t feel deeply cleaned. There were layers of caked on dust and dirt on some of the furniture such as the master headboard, visible mold in the bathroom on the main level, and multiple large carpet stains. For the price we paid (especially the cleaning fee), I would’ve expected it to be cleaner than it was. We also arrived to a dishwasher full of clean dishes to put away, which wasn’t the first thing we wanted to deal with when arriving for a vacation. Overall, I would stay here again if we needed the space and the price was lower than what we paid. The owners were very responsive and the instructions were very clear for check-in and check-out which was appreciated. For what we needed, it worked well.
