This house is a family home owned by my grandfather (professional fisherman).
Located in the Périgord Noir at the edge of the purple Perigord, in a case of calm, in TREMOLAT the "House of the fisherman" awaits you to spend a pleasant stay, in a park of 11000m2 including 2000m2 of garden and flowers, at the edge DORDOGNE river with private access about 10m "bathing and fishing possible". It is independent for 4 people.
On the terrace in the shade of the lime tree you can enjoy your meals while contemplating the river,
 Departure of many tourist and cultural escapades. Trémolat 1. 5km watersports. (Pedal boats, games) Cadouin 10kms (Cistercian abbey is listed on Unesco). Le Bugue 12kms (The Bournat, the aquarium), Audrix (Gouffre de Proumeyssac), Eyzies 20kms (international prehistoric pole) Limeuil 7 kms (Most beautiful village of France, confluence Dordogne Vézère, Canoes kayaks rentals bicycles), Siorac (2 golf 18 holes) Bergerac 34kms (Airport), Périgueux 49kms, Sarlat 43kms, 45Kms Montignac (Lascaux and Lascaux 4 Caves) and many castles overlooking the Dordogne.

Characterful house by the river in a lovely garden.

We really enjoyed staying in this characterful house. It was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. We walked in to the beautiful village of Tremolat and ate at the pizzeria on several occasions. Madam Santran was very kind and helpful on our arrival showing us round the property and recommending many places to visit.

Un petit coin de paradis

Séjour vraiment agréable dans cette maison pleine de charme et d’histoires, baignades au pied du jardin avec descente privée à la rivière, grand jardin bien entretenu, situation au calme mais près de tout, le rêve !

Beautiful location with the Dordogne river at the end of pretty garden

This clean and cosy house sits in private land, set back from the quiet road, with the Dordogne literally at the bottom of the garden. 15 minutes walk from the lovely village of Tremolat with some good walks and a few good options for restaurants. We spent most of our time at the house outdoors enjoying the garden, the river and the wildlife.

Eiskalt erwischt im Perigord - Beschreibung des Hauses irreführend !!!!

Wir wollten sonnige Ferien an der Dordogne erleben, haben unseren Urlaub aber nach 8 Tagen abgebrochen: das Haus war eiskalt, auch weil es draußen kalt und nass war und es im ganzen Haus keine Heizung gab. Obwohl auf den Fotos der Küche ein großer Heizkörper abgebildet ist, funktioniert er nicht, man wird aber nicht darauf hingewiesen. In der Beschreibung sind Kamine angegeben, das sind aber auch nur Attrappen. Eine Garage, wie angegeben, war auch nicht da. Die Räume sind durch ihre Höhe ( 3,10 ) schon sehr bahnhofsmäßig, auch im Wohnzimmer war es düster, kalt und nur ungemütlich. Das Haus kann man überhaupt nicht !!!!!! empfehlen, das einzig positive war ein schöner Garten, leider !!!!

Je suis désolée de constater que vous avez passé un mauvais séjour en Périgord. Toutefois, la description de la maison que j’ai publiée sur le site Abritel est conforme à la réalité. Il n’y a effectivement pas de chauffage car la maison n’est louée que de juin à septembre, mois durant lesquels le chauffage n’est pas indispensable. La hauteur des plafonds à plus de 2.50 m est fréquente en Périgord pour une maison de 1930. La plupart des gens reconnaissent que cela lui donne du cachet mais apparemment cela n’est pas votre cas. Les cheminées sont décoratives comme mentionné sur le site et le garage comme indiqué ne sert que pour mettre des vélos, canoës etc, En outre, je ne suis pas responsable de la météo, particulièrement maussade dans le sud-ouest de la France début septembre cette année. Soucieuse de l’accueil des locataires, j’ai mis à disposition un chauffage d'appoint afin d'améliorer le confort dans la maison mais vous l’avez refusé. Cordialement,

une formidable maison pour les vacances dans une belle paýsage. Grand jardin, très calme auprès de la Dordogne. Idéal point de départ pour les visites des curiosités. Ein großartiges Ferienhaus in einer schönen Landschaft. Großer Garten, sehr ruhig an der Dordogne. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Besuche der Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Un vrai coin de paradis !

Le paradis, çà existe, et c'est à Calès, dans la Maison du pêcheur. Endroit magique, niché en pleine nature, dans un jardin très joliment arrangé, avec comme privilège un accès direct à la Dordogne pour se baigner. Lumière magique qui se reflète dans l'eau et sur le pont, à contempler sans fin. Location conforme à l'annonce, très propre et bien entretenue, où nous avons passé 2 semaines très agréables. Bien situé pour déguster la cuisine régionale, visiter églises, grottes et autres sites historiques, faire du canoë ou simplement ne rien faire. Nous remercions la propriétaire pour sa gentillesse et ses conseils et nous espérons lui rendre à nouveau visite. Catherine Prokofieff

Formidable!

Une jolie maison, locatee directement au bord de la Dordogne. Tout etait propre et Madame Santran nous a donné de bons conseils, sur les loisirs, le canoeing et de bons restaurants perigordiennes. Nous pouvons recommander cette location sans exception! Tremolat est une petite village pittoresque, en distance de 15 minutes à pied avec deux boulangeries, une petite epicerie, deux restaurants et aussi avec un office de tourisme. Jusqu' a la prochaine fois.

Ruhige Unterkunft mit sehr großem Garten

Sehr ruhige Lage direkt an der Dordogne gelegen mit einem sehr großen und schön bepflanzten Garten; mittig gelegen zwischen den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region (Sarlat, Bergerac ...)
