This is truly the perfect derby home and we are very experienced in hosting derby groups. The home is located in the historic Highlands neighborhood. It is close to tons of great restaurants and bars but also close to the track. Many of our guests have brought in a personal chef for their visit or shipped their derby hats in advance. We are very flexible and happy to accommodate your needs!

The property includes a main house with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (3 Full, 2 Half) and a carriage house with a queen bed and a full bathroom.

12 of us stayed for the weekend. There was plenty of space. Getting to and from Bourbon and Beyond was much easier than expected. The weekend was a huge success. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Great house for a large group

Had a full group of 14 people at the property for a long weekend in March and the house fit us perfectly. Plenty of common gathering space for everyone to convene including a great kitchen. Rooms were spacious and private. Not quite in walking distance, but 5 minute drive from many of the surrounding restaurants and social neighborhoods.

Perfect home for our family group

First of all I would like to say the owners were responsive to us as if we were guests not tenants. We had a surprise 70th for my husband with his 5 siblings at the Derby. This home was perfect for a family reunion as it felt like home. the atmosphere was very comfortable - perfect for a reunion. The description of this home was not glowing enough. It is totally renovated and laid out perfectly for privacy and sharing. The baths and bedrooms are divided equally on each floor. No-one had to go through a bedroom to access a bathroom Everything was clean and everything we needed was there at our finger tips. the location is convenient to Church Hill Downs. The house is clean, comfortable, convenient. The owners responded with alacrity to our one problem and we never knew anything had occurred. I would redo our weekend in this home in a nano second. We feel very lucky to have found this prize in Louisville .

We fell in love with this house over two years ago. It is in a great part of town with a ton of land for the area. The house was quite the fixer upper but over the last year, we have slowly restored it back to its original beauty.

The house was built in December of 1929. At that time, it was quite an estate for Louisville, Kentucky.
