The house was very clean and comfortable. The property is beautiful with the large Spanish moss trees. Summerville was exactly the kind of area we are looking for and will definitely be back.
The bungalow was as described and the photos are an accurate depiction of the rooms and outdoors. We stayed for one week with no problems and we were very happy with the accommodations. The rates were fair and reasonable. Definitely recommend this VRBO listing to interested travelers!

Thank You to the host for making this trip with my nieces another great trip.
Wonderful location nestled in lush and beautiful gardens! Very close to historic downtown Summerville with great shops and restaurants. We were in town for a family event and our 2 adult sons stayed with us. Plenty of room for all. Hosts were great to communicate with.

We are always so thankful when a guest has taken the time to write a nice review and we look forward to having this delightful couple back to stay in one of our cottages at Linwood.
The stay at the Bungalow was one of the highlights of our visit to Summerville. It was quiet, clean and very safe. We had everything we needed. I highly suggest you walk the grounds of Linwood or ask for a guided tour as we did. It was very informative. You are also within walking distance to historic downtown Summerville. Would definitely stay here again.
The cottage is located down a short and quiet gravel lane within walking distance of beautiful Summerville. The historic 2 bedroom/2 bath guest house was cozy, clean and very comfortable; furnished with antiques and it had all the modern conventions. With a living room, spacious eat in kitchen and 2 large porch, we had plenty of room. There is also a washer and dryer. Our host could not have been more kind and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at The Bungalow, we look forward to or next visit.
Relaxing, charming little cottage. Close to nearby attractions.we visited the aquarium, beaches...
The cottage was amazing. The place had everything we needed to decompress. I really did not want to leave. It felt like home away from home. Best vacation spot by far!

Our thanks to Jen (or Tim) for giving us a nice review. It was our pleasure to have this sweet family stay in the Bungalow and enjoy LINWOOD and the Summerville/Charleston area. And thanks for the "Earl Grey"! Linda.
This property is excellent. The pictures and description are accurate, and the premises are beautiful. The bungalow is close to shopping and it is easy to access various destinations in the area. The host is very responsive as well.
We had a great stay at the Bungalow! The place was clean, comfortable and quiet! Earl Gray the cat gave us a tour of the beautiful gardens. Check in was easy and communication was great! The Bungalow was better than staying in a hotel. We had an easy walk to downtown Summerville.
We enjoyed the cottage and the location in Summerville. The cottage was quaint, quiet and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the opportunity to stroll and enjoy the plants and landscaping. The host was great about checking in with us to see if there was anything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
We stayed here last year in a different cottage on the property but could not get the same one as last year. So we got the bungalow. It exceeded our expectations. We love the beautiful southern setting with all of the historic housing in the neighborhood. My mom and I walk every morning to look at all of the beautiful houses, and the property itself has a beautiful garden. This is the go to place in Summerville SC
Loved our three days here as used it as a launch pad for our new home. Clean cozy and welcoming in all regards. Owners incredibly responsive to our requests and changes. Gardens ate lovely. Truly a sanctuary and refreshing respite from the hassle and fatigue of moving to a new location.

Thank you for your kind words! So glad Linwood was a treat for you all. Welcome to Summerville :)
We enjoyed our visit at Linwood and highly recommend it! Our official greeter, Earl Grey, (a super cute kitty) was very attentive and stopped by for regular visits. We dubbed ourselves “Earl’s Girls”.
Excellent place to stay and make forever memories !!
I checked a bucket list this last week staying in Charleston and Summerville. The Bungalow at Linwood did not disappoint. The Bungalow was a perfect place for me and my two nieces that that took off work to meet me in Summerville for a fun filled relaxing weekend. The house and the grounds are beautiful. Walking distance to a wonderful friendly community and restaurants. I highly recommend this property for all your travel needs. THANK YOU for making our trip so successful !!
Linda was a great host and the property was absolutely beautiful! We fell in love with the resident cat “Earl Gray”. Close to shops, which we walked to daily, but hidden away which gave the feel of seclusion. Will definitely be back ❤️❤️

It was our pleasure to have this family stay in the BUNGALOW at LINWOOD. We were very glad that they were happy with all that LINWOOD offers and hope to see them back for another visit soon. We are always appreciative of a guest who takes the time to give us a nice review.
We had a great stay at the cottage! My husband and daughter kept telling me what an awesome job I did picking it out LOL! It was quiet, the perfect size for our family, and the perfect place for us to relax after long days of competitive dance and/or sightseeing. Only wish we had more time there. Earl Grey was a wonderful host as well 😻! Thanks for having us and if we’re ever that way in the future, we would not hesitate to stay again.
The host was very responsive, answering any questions we had. When the AC wasn't working initially, they had a service tech come out quickly while we were out to dinner and got it resolved before we returned.
The living spaces, kitchen, and bedrooms made it a much more comfortable stay than a standard hotel room.
The gardens were nice surrounding the area, and the girls enjoyed the playground across the street.
