Peter and Linda have lived in the large, elegant, mansion on the 2 acre historic estate since 1979. The main house was built in 1883. They created 'LINWOOD', Historic Home and Gardens, as an award winning B&B. As of 2019 their concentration is on providing rental accommodation to visitors who may be vacationing, working or relocating. They remain avid gardeners and eager hosts, helping guests who are renting their accommodations to enjoy the fascinating history and beautiful aspects of the South Carolina LowCountry. This charming and comfortable cottage is surrounded by the award winning gardens of the historic estate. Just 4 blocks WALK to quintessential southern, Summerville's unique shops and great restaurants. 15 minutes drive to famous plantations, 30 minutes historic Charleston, 45 to the beaches, 10 for golf. Consider a kayak tour, birding, sailing and much more available in this great location, just 14 miles from Charleston International Airport.

Aside from comfortably sleeping 4 guests, this charming cottage has 2 bathrooms, a large, eat-in, and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, granite counters. there is a stacked washer/dryer, two screened in porches on either side of the living room, garden views, private garden.
