Being able to communicate with the host when needed. The house is very nice. One suggestion, though it would be nice to have a king size bed in the master bedroom with a small couch. No twin beds in the master bedroom just a suggestion.

The house was spacious providing for multiple guests to stay. While the sleeping arrangements were different, we easily worked it out. Everythng was clean and homy. Any questions we had were quickly answered by the Host.
Review of VRBO 1/7/2026 – 1/13/2026This property gets 3 stars at best. The good: The house was clean. And the bed was ok.The BAD: The reason is the ad shows lots of space and as a VRBO I am used to getting the reasonable use of the house. My wife and I were traveling to visit family (our son, daughter in law and 4 teenage kids) in the area. This trip was to celebrate 2 graduating from high school early). Normally we rent a VRBO and host a family dinner or two (this offsets the cost of house vs hotel). We cook a few family meals instead of paying restaurant for all our meals. However, 2 days before arrival we received “House rules”. If I had gotten the rules when I booked originally, I would have canceled this booking and chosen another property. But 2 days before arrival I would have forfeited 100% of our fees. This cost us several hundred dollars in restaurant fees. My lesson learned I will have conversation with owner before booking. Please take a moment to read this set of rules before booking. 1-No house guests that are not on rental agreement at any time2-Don’t open any windows.3-Don’t use the back yard unless you contact the host first.--------See the house rules we received in Photo------------

Thank you very much for your comment. We have been very flexible with our properties, but unfortunately, this has caused us many problems, which is why we have tightened the rules. If you had written to us or called us, it would have been authorized, of course, because you are responsible adults. Much to our regret, guests often lie about their age or have other people book the property, leading to parties, problems with the police and neighbors, etc. Please, when you plan another trip, our house will be available for you, and you can certainly have family meals without any problem. We will always give you a 10% discount on your next stay with us.

Stayed in this rental from Wednesday - Monday and have mixed feelings. There were a total of 6 in our group. All of us used to reside in Charleston and were there for a funeral. Everyone in our group was over the age of 35. GOOD: House was clean and easy to check into. Plenty of towels and other appliances needed for our stay. There was plenty of room in the residence and the beds are okay, not great. BAD: As stated, this was a last minute trip due to a funeral. We wanted our own space to be able to be together and grieve. Nowhere in the add did it state there were TWO units on site and ATTACHED to each other. It appeared that the attached apartment used to be the garage. Had this been advertised, we would’ve found another property. We received the rules about 24 \- before check in. We are all grown adults and understand owners don’t want parties thrown, however, a rule was ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED ON THE PROPERTY. Had this been advertised, we would’ve found another property. The rules received also stated that only TWO vehicles were allowed per unit. We only had one vehicle as some of us drove and others flew in. On our first night, the occupants for the second units arrived around 6pm. They arrived in 6 vehicles, blocked our vehicle in and parked the excess vehicles on the front yard. Not a huge deal, however, not ideal. We counted atleast 6-8 people staying in the second unit. Again, they were quiet but if we knew there was a second unit attached, we would’
