The master bedroom is a large room with a King size bed & attached large bathroom, walk in closet, twin sink, full size mirror, bath tub, and shower, along with other essential facilities.
The next bed room also has a walk in closet & nice decorations with a queen size bed & other essentials in closet and bedroom
Each of the 3rd and 4th bedrooms has a full closet with queen size beds, dressing mirror with large chests and decorated nightstands and lamps.
All the bedrooms have decorated ceiling fans

The living room is a huge one with a wood burning fireplace. It has a large smart flat screen TV connected to Internet. The living room has couches to comfortably seat 8 persons. It has decorated paintings all around. The living room is overlooking the dining area and has, in addition, a long bar counter.
The house is equipped with free WiFi

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with plenty of cooking ware, crockery, and cutlery. The other wares/containers required for cooking and carrying food along with disposable dishes spoon & forks are available in the kitchen pantry.

The kitchen has all new appliances along with a microwave, toaster, blender, mixer, and coffee maker. It also has complementary tea and coffee pouches & sugar to make tea and coffee.
The island in the kitchen has cutting boards and a set of knives. The large cabinets are fully furnished with wine, whisky drink, and beer glasses.The sink is equipped with liquid soap for cleaning. We also provide complementary paper towels in the kitchen on a towel stand
We also provide extra cleaning service with appointment and at extra cost.

The dining room has a large dining table. It has chairs to seat 6 persons at a time with facility to provide extra 6 chairs if required at a given notice with nominal cost. The dining table is fully furnished with table mats and serving bowls in kitchen. Filter water pitchers/jars are available in kitchen

The bathrooms are well decorated and lighted. Each shower is fitted with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. Sinks are provided with hand soap dispenser. We provide complementary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. Sufficient towels and napkins are provided in the bathrooms.

We have a large backyard for indoor play and a well lighted back porch for barbecuing.
The house is a detached & exclusive self-standing property having plenty of space for minimum 8 persons to stay and sleep. Request for additional beds can be considered at additional cost.

horrible....roaches the very first day in kitchen and dining area

The attachments to this email are the roaches and blood on pillow that was found in the house on July 1 at check-in. I spoke with the owner of the property via phone and text messages concerning the condition of the property on July 1 (the initial check-in date). Of course, my family from Florida couldn’t stay in the house the 1st night and had to incur additional fees for hotel rooms that was 30 minutes away from our home. The home owner stated that he would compensate us by not charging us for the 1st night and would do whatever was needed to ensure that my family would be comfortable at his home for the duration of their trip. After he went and bought insect foggers for the active roach infestation, he called me and stated that he didn’t know how to use the foggers. My husband and cousin went to the house to sat out the foggers, etc. The owner reassured me that he would he the property deep clean by 3pm on Friday (July 1, 2021). Early the next morning of July 1, my daughter went by the property and found dead roaches mostly in the kitchen and breakfast/dining area. At the 3pm, the owner was contacted via phone for an update on the cleaning, etc. and then were we notified that his cleaning person had an emergency and wouldn’t be able to clean the house. The question was ask, who would clean the house and the owner ask me to assistance him with finding someone to clean the house. I stated to him that is was too late and he stated to me he would call me back in 15 minutes (he was going to attempt to find someone). The owner called back in 30 minutes and stated that he located someone and they have came over and cleaned the house. I questioned him by asking did the clean it in 15 minutes because we just got off the phone and you had no one. He stated that he was at the property and I told him that we were on the way to see what exactly had been done. Upon entry of the home, the smell of foggers were still present, none of the sheets had been changed (he bought new sheets for 2 of the beds, but they hadn’t been put on the bed), and the roaches on the floor had been picked up by someone, but the kitchen hadn’t been thoroughly wiped down, the shower curtains still remained with soap scrum, and the furniture in the living room area was absolutely filthy. After looking at this house for the 2nd day and the owner not having no one to clean it and suggesting that we can clean it which we would have done, but the 2nd

House at Walden

It was a comfortable, roomy house. Our family enjoyed our stay very much. Use of the Yacht Club pool and fitness center was a fabulous plus, but the virus closed it before our stay was over. Although we figured out how to manage our meal preparation, we would suggest some additions to the supplies to make it more hospitable. There was no broom, no hot pot holders, no measuring cups or spoons, no can opener, no mixing bowls and the small cookie sheet was unacceptable. There was only a tiny amount of dish soap. A full salt shaker would have been nice. Lots of pepper though 😊 There was no shampoo or shower gel in the Master bathroom as promised. There was no bike in the garage as mentioned. The dining room chair legs were very wobbly and we had to tighten multiple screws. The headboards on the beds were unattached so hit the walls and felt unsafe. The mantel was scarily loose. The guest bathroom grout around the tub needs to be repaired. It’s gross! The chain locks on both doors were broken. The mattresses were very noisy. It’s a lovely home and we appreciated being together with our family. But it definitely would benefit from some improvements. Thank you!

Plenty of room for everyone

My family enjoyed staying at this home. The owner has put a lot of effort into making the house comfortable. A few more towels would be nice but everything else was very nice.
