The cabin was perfect for our stay. Exactly as described and the amenities were good and it was very clean! We had one little issue come up and the management team handled it immediately! Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed with friends and everything was excellent! We needed help with the hot tub and the response was immediate. I loved the privacy, nature setting and location! I plan to return soon.

Could be better
Arrived to dirty shower, rips and stains of bed linens, heavily deodorized carpet assuming to mask spills/pet accidents, non working tub, and leaking garbage disposal that was not disclosed. Good location so disappointed.

Nice home but needs some improvements. Large nice bedrooms but small kitchen if you plan to cook much, however the kitchen is extremely well stocked. We did find a dirty frying pan in cabinet with dried scrambled eggs. If you love to spend time around fire pit it’s not convenient. You have to walk all the way around house and down hill. It would be nicer if there were steps off side porch. Description shows 4 Adirondack chairs around pit but there was only 1. Also directions said 2nd house on drive but it’s the 3rd
Great location to Grandfather Mountain and Hawksnest Snow Tubing. 3 King suites really nice. Comfortable beds, comfortable living room furniture. You might need a Chiropractor for your neck after watching some TV, it is really high above fireplace, but it does come with ability to stream which was nice. When we arrived, some windows had been left unlocked and one cracked open, so check the doors and windows when you arrive. We had an issue with the ice maker in the freezer not working. My handy husband fixed it, you're welcome...but if it isn't working again, check how cold the freezer is. Too cold and the water line into the ice maker freezes. There are plenty of coffee mugs but literally 1 regular cup/glass and 1 wine glass so bring some cups or plan on drinking out of coffee mugs the whole time. We specifically wanted a hot tub, but never used it because the water level was too low to run it ( a lot of the jets weren't under water), it was cloudy and dirty. We had a really short stay so no time to have anyone come fix it. Carolina Cabin Rentals easy to work with, I just think whoever cleaned/checked the house after the people before us dropped the ball on a few things.

Thank you for sharing. Each of your points were addressed and acted upon by our QC teams as well as our Executive HouseKeeper. Again thank you for the constructive feedback.
Easy to find and check in. Glad we were able to bring Goose along for the trip! Glad we spoke to one of the neighbors on the way in about grocery stores and he also told us where to access one of the trails. Great 20 minute hike to waterfall.
Had a very peaceful stay. The property was clean, the hot tub worked and check in was easy. 3 king beds, what’s not to love? Definitely have 4WD/AWD in winter as the dirt/gravel road can be quite steep.
Love the place and would book again!
If you seek peace, nature, fun, and amazing times, this is the place to rent. These guys really have their act together. We loved the cabin, town, and people......
We came up for a last minute family vacation before school started and it was a perfect spot! The house was well maintained, everything was clean, and plenty to do in the area for our 5 year old! Will definitely return.
My family really enjoyed our stay at Hidden Hawk! The cabin was even better than pictured! It had every amenity you could possibly need! It was well kept and very clean. The gravel loop just past it was perfect for walking any four-legged friends. We really enjoyed visiting the Banner Elk area. There was plenty to see and do. It was a great location. We really had NO complaints!
Besides missing a few essential kitchen tools and a shot glass (!) (some of which I bought and left there), this place was perfect. Everything worked. exactly as pictured, albeit a little darker (web pics are inevitably overexposed). Bed was comfortable. Plenty of blankets. Nice views, including some spectacular ones just the other side of the neighbors place. little to no outside traffic. Great place for the doggo.. great view of the stars from the hot tub. Close enough to town yet felt miles away. my one complaint? Window blinds were a pain to open. Would book again!
Great location. We found a trail thru the back of the property that connected to the Otter Falls traIl. The house had a small but comfortable living room. All three bedrooms have king beds, which is nice. Only thing that could be better was kitchen pots, utensils, etc. Also, the hot tub was nice but only one seat had working jets. The house has great views of Grandfather Mountain.
The property is beautiful. Very clean and well set up. The only downside was the mattresses were cheap and hard as a rock. And the jacuzzi had only two working jets, and the hot tub only one seat’s jets worked. I notified the company and they did give me a refund of $100 which was nice, however when u can’t sleep properly for 6 days because both u and your husband have back issues, and u spend that much on a cabin rental, it could have been better. They did say they’d show the owner my comment. I hope it gets fixed. The beds were old cheap coil mattresses that had zero padding and we both aches for the first 2 hours or so after waking up. So bad I slept on the couch 2 nights. When you’re on vacation and want a peaceful restful stay, and u can’t sleep, it really defeats the purpose. However the cabin was beautiful and the area is very nice as well.
We had a lovely time at the cabin. Close to Sugar and Beech Mountain ski slopes.

Beautiful cabin nestled in the trees & convenient to so many wonderful places to visit!
Great layout... impressed that each couple had a spacious bedroom with king size beds & private bath access
Would be nice to add 2 more chairs & a floor lamp in the den area & also to have a full length mirror in each bedroom (preferably by the closets)~
Overall very impressed & looking forward to our next stay... thanks for the wonderful accommodations!

This was a nice cabin in a pleasant location. Took our dog for walks on the gravel roads when not hiking on trails. The cabin was clean when we arrived. A few things need attention. The microwave turntable does not revolve when operating. Burned out lightbulb in one bathroom and the back porch. The main living room could use more light; there is one overhead light and a small lamp on the table that doesn't give much light.

The cabin was well equipped. You could equip with a new can opener. It was very hard to open a can. The wine opener was inferior. The grill ignitor did not work. The upstairs shower could use a new shower liner. Other than that, the cabin itself was great. Unless someone doesn't tell you, you won't know.

Cozy Cabin
Wonderful stay at Hidden Hawks. Cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Very clean and well kept cabin with roomy bedrooms. The three king beds was a plus. Great location being within twenty minutes to head into Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. Loved being able to walk to Otter Falls trail. The only negative was the living room space was a bit small. Loved the wrap around porch. It was great to sit and enjoy the sun and / or shade. The porch was enclosed with a gate so kids or dogs could play out on the porch and not wonder beyond. Would definitely stay here again.
