Well worth every penny and if you are a craft brew fan try Ray Brook Brew house right down the street. Super hospitable and fantastic food and beer.

Great space for basecamp while staying in the tri-lakes area. Excellent location. The cabin had the original feel of a classic camp. Very clean. The host, Todd, was great to communicate with.

Perfect - will be back

Perfect for a long weekend up for a tournament. Great location, quiet with easy access to both downtowns. Need to take advantage of the firepits next time! Only comment is it would be great to have a ceiling fan or something in the room - more cross breeze. But overall great!

HI Jessica, thank you for coming! We do offer air conditioners, which should easily cool the one room cabin, and find we do not have the appropriate set up for a ceiling fan. We have regular fans available, please remember to request one next time if not already in your cabin. Cheers, Todd

perfect for our needs

It was basic, but just what we needed for one night. We were from out of town, and attending a wedding at Saranac Lake, only about 6 miles away!

Great cabin, great location, great amenities!

Great location to Saranac Lake and many hiking and kayaking spots, one mountain trailhead right on property. There is also a couple great places to eat/drink within walking distance.

June quick stay

Very friendly hosts! Bethany and Dave greeted us upon arrival ready to answer any questions about our cabin. We shared Adirondack hiking adventures and they recommended a few local restaurants. Even though it was a very quick stay it was a positive experience.

Just what we were looking for!

A beautiful little cabin to spend Ironman weekend in. Quaint and comfortable, the cabin had everything we needed. Joyce was a wonderful host. My wife and I are looking forward to another stay on our next trip to Lake Placid.

Peaceful vacation

Cabins are very cute - we had the most peaceful sleep in years - manager of the site is very friendly - make sure you air out the cabin often as it tends to have the 'old cabin' odour - we used baking soda to absorb the indoor odour. For cooking we brought a propane grill as there is no stove. There are BBQs for use. The cabins are very well located, between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, close to amenities - we were able to walk over to get our breakfast/lunch. Surrounding area is beautiful.
