About the host
Hosted by Barb & Dennis Clare
Dennis & Barb Clare are retired aviation professionals with a passion for the outdoors. We have a large, blended family of 6 kids with spouses and grandchildren. Active in our church and community, we are blessed to call these 37 acres our home.
Why they chose this property
Dennis is an avid hunter and fisherman, Barb is a riding enthusiast. We have worked hard to develop pasture acreage and maintain and create new trails for riding and hiking. Just a short drive to the Tawas City area to the East or West Branch to the West, we are in a tranquil setting just on the edge of the Huron National Forest.
What makes this property unique
Bringing your horse and being able to board for a few days or a week makes it easier to sight see the area while knowing your horse is cared for. During pasture season, your horse will have access to a fenced in paddock with water and shelter. There's plenty of room to park your trailer and camp. Electric Hookups are available if you opt to not rent the Bunkhouse. (no dump station)
