Le logement était propre et bien équipé. Les hôtes discrets et aimables. Toutefois, Il manque une hotte dans la cuisine, le four fume beaucoup également. Il y avait un peu d'humidité dans les chambres à cause d'une mauvaise isolation (l'air passait sous les fenêtres).

L'hôte est accueillant et très gentil, la maison est charmante mais la literie et les oreillers sont très fatigués et pas du tout confortables.Gros problème d'humidité dans 1 chambre qui affecte les oreillers.Pas de rangement chaussures à l'entrée.Equipment pour cuisiner pourrait être amélioré.

Sehr ruhige, zentrale Lage mit sehr großem Garten , ideal zu den Landungsstränden und Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie gute Verkehrsanbindung zur N13. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in wenigen Autominuten in Bayeux erreichbar.Nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter, die sich bei Problemen schnell und unkonventionell kümmern.Leider war ein Schlafzimmer im gesamten Zeitraum nicht bewohnbar.Die Ausstattung für 5 Erwachsene z.B Besteck, Töpfe, Pfannen... sind etwas zu knapp bemessen und sollten erweitert werden.Das Bad im Untergeschoß ist ziemlich eng. Vor allem die Toilette im Erdgeschoss ist mit ca 1 qm, direkt unter der Geschosstreppe sehr knapp bemessen.Wir vergeben 4 Sterne, differenziert sind es zwischen 3,5 und 4. Das System lässt diese Bewertung leider nicht zu.

French Family Holiday

We arriived on Saturday afternoon and were immediately greated by the owner Jerome. We parked our motorbikes and i was shown around the property. The property was amazing.The kitchen was well presented and spacious.All of the bedrooms were very comfortable, with loads of storage.The temperature outside was up to 24 degrees and the house was lovely and cool.We were allowed to store our motorbikes in an out building. We loved this feature. All of my family enjoyed the stay and the time went far too quick. The property is in a fantastic location for the DDay landing beaches, with the furthest being 40 minutes away. Bayeaux is less than 3 Km away, with fairly big Carrefour and a fuel station. Arromanches was only 8 Km away also. The large garden was beautiful to sit in and it was so quiet and peaceful. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would love to come back in the future. I would like to thank Jerome for his hospitality as it was excellent.

Beautiful property close to many places of interest

What a lovely property located about ten minutes from Bayeux but in such peaceful countryside! Jerome and Veronique were really welcoming and the house was very suitable for our family group. The ground level bedroom and bathroom was perfect for our 88 year old mother and the open plan living space worked really well. It was so special to listen to the many birds in the garden as we drank our morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The journeys to the landing beaches with the fascinating museums and moving war cemeteries were very easy. We also had a fabulous day visiting Tatihou island and Saint Mere Eglise. We recommend Le Petit Jardin, just ten minutes away, for delicious food and the ice-cream at the local farm glacerie.We couldn't ask for a better property for our special holiday!

La maison de Veronique et Jérôme est tout simplement parfaite ! Charmante, spacieuse et au calme. Magnifique maison de campagne

En famille de 7 à 91 ans, maison spacieuse pour 8 personnes, avec tous ce dont une famille ai besoin. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et très discret. Nous les remercions pour notre premiers petits déjeuner, nous avons été gâtés avec croissants, petits pains au chocolatjus d'orange.

Autumn Break

We had a lovely stay at Maison de Campagne. Jerome and Veronique met us on arrival and were lovely hosts. On the first morning we were left bread and pastries, and along with fresh orange juice left in the fridge, we had a delicious breakfast. The cottage was beautifully clean, warm and comfortable with all the equipment we needed. We found the location excellent for touring the sights of Normandy; we had a particular interest in seeing the WW2 sites such as Pégasus Bridge, the beaches, Longues-sur-Mer battery and Pointe de Hoc and it was easy to access these. We also spent a day in Bayeux to see the Tapestry and take in the sights. We were only a 5 minute drive from a local boulangerie for fresh bread every day and there is a large Carrefour less than 10 minutes driving away to stock up on provisions. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Hopefully we will be back at some point! Thank you Jerome and Veronique.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das sehr gut ausgestattete Landhaus ist ruhig gelegen und hat voll und ganz unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Die Lage ist ideal in angenehmer Distanz zu den Landungstränden und weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Normandie. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur wenige Fahrminuten entfernt.

Great stay in Normandy

The Country House came "as advertised". A great place to stay for our party of six adults. Very comfortable, very well equipped and in a great "country" location. Additionally, the owners (Jerome and Veronique) were excellent to communicate with and also left us with breakfast at our door on the first morning of our stay . . . tres bien indeed. Great stay

Very pleased with the accommodation. Clean and well equipped. Large garden for children to play safely in and not annoy any neighbours. Owners communicated well and although live next door not intrusive, but felt if anything was needed they would be more than willing to help. We enjoyed the location in this quiet hamlet, but only minutes by car to bakery and supermarket.

This is a lovely accommodation with gracious hosts. The spacious first-floor kitchen and living room offered plenty of space for a family of five, and our three children enjoyed playing in the large yard. The property's central location is perfect for exploring Bayeux, the D-Day beaches, and nearby villages. We would definitely consider staying here again.
