About this property

Camp Sabino-Breathtaking Historic Beachfront Summer House

Camp Sabino is one of the grand old houses of Small Point, a secluded community of several families who have summered here for generations. It is perched upon an ocean bluff with the most breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean, the Morse Mountain preserve, Popham and Seguin in the distance. It has its own beach access and renters can use the "Small Point only" clay tennis courts and dock facilities. There is also the wonderful Small Point Summer School. Ocean front porch (half screened in) that runs the length of the house. Three bedrooms. 2.5 bathrooms. Sleeps six. Option to rent separate Nest del Mar next door.

Historic Camp
Definitely a classic turn of the century Maine summer seaside home.Dramatically relaxing! An upgrade of some of the old furniture in the TV room (or deep cleaning) wouldn't hurt, nor a new set of cooking pots&pans..I also found master shower hot water a bit tepid. All and all a magical place with good hosts

Loved it!
We are just back from a most wonderful stay at Camp Sabino! This is a unique and special property. This home is amazing and full of history, walking in we were totally captivated. The home itself and location are spectacular, you have access to the beautiful beach, to nature and most importantly a respite from work and life in general. All amenities are as listed and more. You really do not need to bring a whole lot- linens, towels, beach towels are provided. The kitchen is well stocked. Photos do not do justice to this incredible property! We will be back. Thank you Pip, Mary and Mia for opening your home!

About the host

Host profile image
Hi, there! We're Pip and Mary, your hosts. We’ve been together for eight long bumpy happy years trying to cobble a life together across three distant states with five children between us. We tripped sideways into property management in 2014. We love it and want to make it our mainstay, and that’s where you come in. Why Maine, you ask? Pip's maternal family has a long storied past here. They were shipbuilders and politicians, feisty matriarchs and male ne'er-do-wells, and my mother left my sisters and I a handful of properties that we now manage. We’re not quitting our day jobs yet, but we are trying our to live our best lives now. Pip is a former journalist and writer who has lived and worked all over the world. Mary is a Dharma yogi and education activist who loves to cook vegan food. We put a lot of love into our houses. We have a great local cleaning crew who keeps keeps them sparkling clean and a colorful cast of characters who mow, drill, and generally keep the show on the road. We know the area really really well and love to share this knowledge with our guests. We hope you enjoy our houses as much as we do.
