About this property

Time to enjoy life at Oak Island. Our quaint little beach house is just the place. A short walk to the Public beach access at the end of the street and a mile to the public ICW boat ramp. Plenty of nice local restaurants and shopping near by.

Our home has all the amenities you need to have a great vacation:

Great beach getaway!

We had the best week at this nice little beach house! It was perfectly clean and spotless with literally everything you needed for a week at the beach. We loved sitting on the nice front porch and eating downstairs around the outside patio table. We walked to the beach once, so it's possible if you don't mind a decent stroll a couple of blocks away and crossing the busy main drag. We rented a golf cart, and it was perfect for getting to the beach and exploring the island! We were so grateful to have found this nice, affordable house that allowed us to truly enjoy a week at the beach! We would come absolutely love to come back and stay again!

Great Oak Island Getaway

This place was great for me and my family for a quick vacation. Walking distance to the beach and has everything you might need. The upstairs is awesome, the downstairs bathroom could use a little work but nothing major - no place to hang a towel or toilet paper holder. The outdoor shower is one of my favorite features but be warned that the handles for Hot and Cold are mislabeled :) Overall would recommend this place!

Very relaxing

The house was beautiful! Such a beachy feel! The beach was a 1 minute drive and parking was easy. Will was amazing with communication! We would definitely stay here again :) Also there's a bedroom that's not attached to the house which is awesome if you have multiple couples going or teens!

My wife and I are carolina locals living in Charlotte, NC. When we need a break from the big city, we like to venture out to our Island retreat. My wife is a native of the Southport area and nothing feels quite like home like the Brunswick County beaches. We are East Carolina Pirates, but welcome guest of lesser known state schools. Our home is a new adventure for us and we look forward to sharing a piece of the excitement with you and your family.

Why they chose this property

We love the beach and wanted a great place to stay and enjoy the island. My wife has been coming to Oak Island her whole life and I needed a better place to get my Boston Whaler in the water. My wife’s family is local and it isn’t hard to convince my family to make the trip from Raleigh... ultimately it’s a great place to make memories. Not to mention Southport is just across the bridge.

What makes this property unique

This truly is a special place. Sitting on the front porch listening to the sound of the waves crashing down is pure relaxation. Our home is cozy, relatively new (2014) with very nice finishes and plenty of room to sleep for it’s size. Many extras included to make it easy for you to focus on enjoying your vacation. Yes you will have a short walk to the beach, but you won’t have to pay double the price,
