Host was awesome to work with. Cleaning crew never came through and we were able to work out a deal. House is spacious, old and needs some love but it’s a beach house and worked great for my family. Would definitely recommend.
This property was an excellent fit for our family. Fantastic location from the beach and within walking distance to the pier. We loved the neighborhood and spending time on the front porch. The rooms were spacious and we appreciated the large beds and futon couches in the livingroom. We will be back!
This property is perfect for our family of 9. The location is perfect with a short walk to the beach and a half mile to the pier and a half mile to Ocean Park.
Three of the bedrooms have queen size beds and one room has a king size bed, which is perfect for our family with all adult children.
My favorite part of this house is the front porch and the many rockers where you can either sit in the shade or in the sun and enjoy a view of the beach.
Roger and Sabine are quick to respond to any questions.
We hope to return every summer!

Vacation
This was my second time renting out this place. I came because I had a good experience the first time. The second time not so much. First I will list the pros
Pros: good location from the beach . Love the porch and beach gear to borrow
Cons: Parking is tight especially when you have all three renting out the different places. Also, the pictures look totally different from the couches that are actually there. Definitely outdated and ready to fall apart. Even hang my clothes in the room, where the king bed was because there is a horrible oil smell and made my clothes smell bad. The air conditioners are so disgusting and need to be cleaned. The blankets that they provide on the bed are hardly blankets. I wouldn’t even call them if you are staying there please bring your own comforter and warm blanket. Lastly, we were sitting in the living room and saw a mouse running across the floor into the kitchen.
Overall, it was good, but will I stay there again now definitely not worth the money
A perfect house for our 3 generation reunion. Enough space for the 7 of us, a quick walk to a beautiful sandy beach, and about 5-10 minutes to walk into town. Enjoyed the grill and the front porch. Lots of body surfing, boogie boarding and sand castle building. There is a life guard at the beach too. Easy to get into Portland if you need a break from the beach. Easily found on street parking. Only small complaint could use more coffee mugs and teaspoons. Otherwise quite lovely!
We couldn’t wait for our vacation to come, and we were not disappointed!! The house was clean and had everything you could possibly need, we only brought our sheets. We had 5 adults and one 8 yr old, everyone had their own room/ bed!! Only 10 houses from the beach. Diner and store on the corner, only a 10 min walk to the center/Pier! Big front porch 👍🏻 We’ll be back next year!!!!
We really enjoyed the property. Great kitchen and family gathering area, front porch complete with rocking chairs and deck with picnic table and gas grill. Spacious bedrooms. And best of all, a stone’s throw to a beautiful section of Old Orchard Beach. Easy walk to the Pier or Ocean Park.
Nice older house with modern amenities. Simple and nicely laid out for a great weekend. Location was perfect: less than a block from the beach and a short walk from the pier and yet far enough to be quiet and calm
