Love that they are pet friendly, our first vacation with our 3 year old Goldens. Our work in training paid off, even eith the road kinda close. Nice area for chasing the ball, we kept their bed in from of 1 of 2 sets od double doors and they loved it. The cabin really grows on you the longer you are there. Not an overly crowded bunch of stuff in the kitchen. Just right for all our needs - improvised on the baking sheet with a 9x13 pan, used storage bowl for mixing bowl - perfect! Vew was outstanding. It is close to the busy road but we were soon sleeping through it. Perfect little place for us. Be away, no television! Seemed great to us after a few days of withdraw, lol. Good location to interesting places - we found more that we could do in a week. (Slept the first week of vacation!)

Great location for piece and quiet.

Small but quintessential Maine camp. All that you need if unplugged from distraction is the goal. I would recommend this property.

Cozy house, perfect for a long-term stay

The house is charming with a nice wood burning stove, awesome views of the bay, a large kitchen area and nice bedrooms. The location is an easy ~ 20 minute drive to both Eastport and Calais and around 40 minutes to Lubec. The hosts were very helpful and easy to reach with any questions that came up.

This is a great space to recharge and relax away from the hustle. And plenty of spaces to visit in both Canada and Maines golden coast. The cabin features rustic charm, comfy couches and amazing views. We made friends with the bluejay family and saw bald eagles almost daily on the beach. Great beach for seagoass collecting. it was also great to have washer and dryer. The beds were comfy too and our pets enjoyed their stay as well.

Cozy cottage by the sea

This is a delightful little cottage. Cozy, warm and comfy. We needed a place to stay temporarily while we tried to buy a home in the area. Even though the home sale didn’t pan out, our hosts could not have been more accommodating. Thanks so much!

Spectacular Sunrises and Tides to See

Its a cabin setting. Definitely piece and quiet and no hustle and bustle. Awesome high and low tides. Lots of animal watching (seals, deer, bald eagles, ect...). Oh and the sunrises are the best I've seen and walking out on the beach at low tide collecting sea glass. It a relaxing and peaceful place.

The Bay

Lovely bay views with beautiful sunrises. Everything we would need for our stay in the cabin. Close proximity to Eastport and Calais if we needed anything. Watched lobster boats collecting lobsters from their traps. Was visited several times by bald eagles on our beach. Would recommend to anyone a stay at this property. Chuck

Great "Home" Base

This little cabin was a great home base from which to explore the surrounding coastal area. Lubec & Campobello Island & St Andrews BC were easy 45 minute drives. The Canada border just 12 miles away. Eastport with its festivals & whales watches, great restaurants & shops was a mere 20 minutes. There are miles of hiking trails within a 30 minute radius. And if you need anything, a sizeable grocery store and Walmart were both 12 miles up the road. The cabin is not luxurious BUT simple and cute and clean. It was small but fine for four adults who want a comfortable home base alot roomier and more functional for living than a motel room. We cooked and barbecued a few of our meals right there. The host responded to my questions in a timely way. But the prize for us was waking up in the morning right on the Bay. Our goal was not to have to drive & park on a beach to be on the water. We saw numerous seals and herons daily! The beach was rocky, not sandy which was fine for us as we spent most of our time at the cabin reading, writing, and hunting for sea glass and enjoying the view. Being on the road did not bother us a bit. And as mentioned above, you can get everywhere from there. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

This cabin is an absolute gem! We recently moved to Maine and needed lodging until our home was ready. This was the perfect spot! Rooms and beds were spacious and being animal friendly helped us out a lot! The kitchen has everything you need and the entire home was very clean and stocked up on immediate essentials. The outside of the cabin and the property were amazing! We sat outside every morning and evening watching all of the local wildlife. And the tides were amazing to watch. The hosts were very well communicated and professional. I highly recommend this cabin.

Paradise

We had a truly wonderful time here. The cottage is cute and cozy, the sunrises are breathtaking, and the view and air are so soothing and relaxing. The beach is very rocky, so make sure you bring crocs or a strong, firm water shoe!

Nice Place

we really enjoyed the rocky beachfront at this home. it was a great cottage with all the necessities. The only drawback was it was too close to the road and we could hear traffic all night. The owner/Mgr was very thoughtful and the close proximity to Calais was a plus.

Relaxing spot by the ocean

Had a nice stay at this cozy clean cabin so close to the beach. Beautiful views, enjoyed walking along the beach and found lots of beach glass. Drove into Eastport,20 minutes away,to buy fresh haddock and scallops at the fish market and cook them up in well supplied kitchen and enjoyed eating outside on the picnic table right by the beach. Look forward to returning again soon 😊

The view is spectacular. Loved all the woodwork inside.

The owner of the property stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed, nice touch. We got to see some harbor seals and loons which was a added bonus. We will definitely be back again.
