This is a 4 bedroom, 4 bath home with all the amenities for your families comfort, includes complementary Stage 2 EV charging station. The kitchen has top of the line appliances, granite counter tops, gourmet quality cookery and utensils. The adjacent dining room features a beautiful teak dining table and chairs.The living room has a comfy leather couch and exquisite Danish reclining leather chairs with ottomans that will put you to sleep as you enjoy the entertainment center with quality audio, cd, dvr and a 60" TV with cable and Free WiFi included. Completing the first floor is a bedroom/ sitting room with futon /full size bed conversion and connecting bathroom as well as a laundry room with front loading washer and dryer.
Upstairs the master suite includes a gas fireplace, walk-in closet and Jacuzzi bathtub. Two additional bedrooms on the second floor have their own private bathrooms
The pet friendly fenced in backyard provides a deck with table, umbrella and cushioned chairs plus a gas barbecue and wood burning fire pit for your evening relaxation.
There is garage parking for one car plus additional driveway and street parking.
Sean and Julie our full time tenants in the studio apartment above the garage are very helpful if you have any questions or problems. They are Carpinteria locals and happy to share knowledge of local attractions, hiking, beaches, restaurants etc. They have their own side yard entrance. Please respect their space and leave the left parking space in the driveway to them.
Close proximity to the freeway makes the location convenient to Downtown Carpinteria, Summerland and Santa Barbara

The listing of the property was very misleading. You can’t walk to the beach as the street is too busy and narrow street to do so safely. As mentioned the house faces a very busy street and behind the house is the freeway resulting in a lot of noise. The kitchen cabinets were grungy, utensils and coffee cups were also gross. Bathroom had cheap soap and towels were sparse and thin. There’s also a hidden charge (5 or more guests cost an extra amount) that wasn’t disclosed which I’m hoping will be returned. It was a 4 bedroom house with only 2 tvs. The one in the family room was superb but the other one only worked with dvds. Overall for the money I’d look for another place.

There are lots of positives for this property. You need to drive to the beach, but it is a convenient close location for a quick drive. We had 7 adults and 1 baby. The reason I chose this place was because of the four bedrooms and four bathrooms which accommodated our group very nicely. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed, especially the master suite, which is large. The sound proofing of the house itself was excellent. No one heard the baby crying except the parents. With the windows closed the highway noise was tolerable but I did mark the property down because there is considerable noise from the freeway. One of our cars is a hybrid so the EV charging unit was much appreciated. The large dining table was great. There is a good collection of DVDs. Not sure about the choice to not put the DVD player in the main living room. The kitchen was okay. The staples that you find in some places were missing though, no pepper, or other spices, and no oil for example. Overall we had a good experience and would stay there again if we had another large group.

I think this was our 5th trip to Carpenteria. We live in the Bay Area but one of my daughters and husband live in LA. We are making it a tradition the celebrated Easter there and this was one of the nicest places we’ve rented. It has everything we are looking for; especially access to Santa Claus Beach. Very dog friendly, spacious, well kept. What’s not to like. The next time we head to Carpenteria this will definitely be our first choice to return to. Thank you very much for making our stay easy and enjoyable.

It was lovely having a place large enough for 3 adults and 3 children. The beaches were great; we enjoyed the area very much. The house overall was in great shape, the combination door lock was very challenging for my sons and me; made it a frustrating entry each time.... might be time for a new lock system? Otherwise, it was perfect for our gathering place. Thank you!
