Caribbean Dream Home is an authentic Bahamian estate home located on the coastal waters of the Caribbean in the Long Island Sound. The ambiance is both relaxed and exciting set to enjoy and explore at your leisure.

The home is surrounded on three sides by an open veranda with cooling breezes as you look out over the bay area. A large patio with dining table is perfect for evening meals.

Coconut trees offer fresh coconut water and on occasion you might visit while the bananas or melons are ripe.

This home while on the Caribbean coast, is not partial to any beach rather it is situated centrally on Long island. Explore Long Island and adventure to the many beaches returning each day to the high ceilings, ceiling fans, cold a/c and beautiful sunsets over the ocean seen from the master bedroom, living room or veranda.

Three bedrooms, two baths and extra beds for more offer a stay for as many as eight people!

The island, the house and the people were amazing in every aspect. The property location, grounds & view are amazing. The spacious house was clean & beautifully decorated and had all that was needed. Charles & Teresa go far and beyond to ensure guests have everything they want & need. We will be back.

Beat our expectations

From the photos I wasn't able to get a full appreciation for the beauty of the property. The interior of the house was clean and the feel was perfect for an island get away. Well equip with everything you could need. Check-In was a breeze and response time to a very minor issue was quickly and satisfactorily resolved. Check-out was also painless. A friend who accompanied me on the trip is already planning to book the property for her family in a few weeks! The back of the property overlooks the water and though it's not a beach it is still peaceful and serene...if we'd stayed in long enough to enjoy it!

Great location and very clean

We had a great stay! The water is about 40 ft from the back door. There is not a beach but a few rocks to climb over and you are in the water. Our party walked to the sand bar and chilled there all morning. It is minutes from Dean’s Blue Hole and the caves. The location of the house is very centralized. Teresa and Charles were great host! We arrived the tail end of the regatta. Restaurants were closed so they cooked us an amazing dinner. House was very clean and roomy for the 7 of us!

Great location and peaceful setting

We loved our stay at the Caribbean Dream Home. Charles and Teresa are awesome property managers and were so helpful. They know everything Long Island and went the extra mile to cut down some coconuts for us on the property and bring us fresh fruit from their farm. The house is super nice and with a well equipped kitchen, plenty of space for a whole family with the three bedrooms but it was just the two of us on this visit. Beautiful view of the water, not really a good place to get in the water or launch a boat (other than a kayak if you rent one) but just beautiful to look out on that water day and night. The sunsets are amazing! There was a whole family of nomad free-range chickens- a rooster, hen, and 8 chicks that also kept us entertained. We love the location of this property as we frequented Dean's Blue Hole, Bonniecord, dinners in Clarencetown, and Gordon's at the South end. It's also not far from Max's Conch Bar and Deadman's Cay Airport. Plenty of food stores and all that near the house as well. We would definitely book another stay at this home. It was just perfect for what we wanted and needed.

Wonderful stay

We spent 2 weeks at Teresa and Charles house and had a wonderful time. It is conveniently located midway from the northern/southern ends of Long Island. Spacious, clean, it has everything we needed + the beautiful view on the quiet waters of the “Sound” (you can walk but not swim the water there, because it is so shallow), with sunset to enjoy every night. The large lot offers privacy, convenient stores are a 5/10 mn drive. Long Island has plenty of amazing beaches on both the Carabeen and Atlantic sides, with incredible transparent turquoise and blue waters, superfine sand to walk on for miles, and we (almost) always had them just for us ! Truly beautiful. Just basically try any road (bumpy) left or right from the HQ, there are much more incredible sites than marked on the maps. Teresa and Charles were very easy to work with, and they also offer boat and land tours if you want to go snorkeling or fishing.

Spacious, centrally located

We had an enjoyable experience. House was spacious and well equipped. Location was great as it was close to airport, restaurants, Dean's Blue Hole and Clarence Town. House has enough space for 2 families to stay. Charles and Teresa, the property managers, are very accomodating. We gave them a grocery list before arriving on island and fridge was stocked with our goodies.
