Cozy 1 bedroom holiday apartment, fully furnished and very well equipped kitchen, (combined fridge, electric oven, hob, microwave, smart water heater, washing machine, toaster, kettle, blender, espresso machine with Nespresso capsules ). Double room with air conditioning, floating floor, fitted oak wardrobe and direct access to the terrace. Large bathroom consisting of bath with shower, toilet, bidet and storage unit with built-in washbasin. Large room with air conditioning and central vacuum, consisting of living and dining areas. It is equipped with a TV with HDMI and DVD as well as free Wi-Fi internet service. Has private parking space in garage with direct access to the apartment, by electric command.
To go to the beach you will not need a car as the apartment is located right by the sea, in the urbanization of Aldeia Formosa, one of the best developments in the typical village of Cabanas de Tavira far from the hustle and bustle of the major tourist centers.
The surrounding area is filled with a diverse range of excellent golf courses (Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Castro Marim), restaurants with a gastronomic offer based on the Mediterranean and international diet, bars, shops and famous Cabanas beach within easy reach. . NO PETS ALLOWED.

Brilliant little apartment, very clean well equipped and good location.

Marta was there to meet us on our late arrival. Very patient and very pleasant even at the late hour. She explained everything to us and gave us her contact details. Would definatley stay again.

Cold, Uninviting Place

First of all, description is misleading, as are other things about the place. It is not beachfront, but rather water front. There are a handful of overpriced restaurants around, but if you want to go to the centre, you need a car. Secondly, and more importantly, there are very uncomfortable beds and bedding in the place. Even though I had my own pillow, I woke up to a bad back and neck every day. I had to then sleep on my yoga mat for some nights. Outdated furniture, fake plants, and the kitchen had one mug only, if you wanted a drink of water. There is an old stove, also outdated, and overall an uninviting feeling. This coldness was reflected in the host as well, who was keen to make money but not deliver any sort of service. She was quite anxious to know the departure time the moment I arrived in the flat. The whole place reflected this cold, uninviting, flat, colourless attitude. If you want to relax in a nice place, this is not the one. Certainly, there is nothing cozy about it!

Dear Anahita, we appreciate your comments that made us sad as we think they are very harsh and unfair. We are deeply sorry that you did not find the bed comfortable, we have had several positive comments regarding comfort, but we realize that a mattress can be a very personal thing. However, we have some difficulty understanding how it is possible for a bed to be less comfortable than a yoga mat! Although you had your own pillow this apartment is also equipped with at least three types of pillows. Regarding furniture and decoration, we have great concern to show everything as it is in the photos so that our guests can get a real idea of what they are booking. This works for all our apartments and we are sure that you had the opportunity to confirm that everything that was in the apartment was exactly the same as the images in the add. The stove works perfectly, and you can cook all kinds of food there, You need a lighter but we do not see any limitation in this regard. You were not a smiling person, in fact very strict and we respect that. Your hostess always acted in a professional manner and complied with all your requests: You asked for a substantial price reduction, and we did. You asked to bring your dog, and we made an exception and accepted you pet. You asked for a transfer to another city with an English-speaking driver for a low price and we found one. And the reason why we need to know the time of your departure, was so that we could be on time to return your security deposit. We do not think that there was any service left to provide. We have no control over restaurant prices but we know the area well enough to guarantee that you can have a very good meal for reasonable prices. we hope you will continue to enjoy your vacation and we suggest that whenever something is not right, inform your host so that he can do something for you and to prevent that in the end a stay that seems to be fine, is not. Great communication with Marta before the stay and on arrival, with prompt responses to any messages. The apartment was excellent, very clean and well presented and really well equipped with everything that could possibly be needed. We greatly appreciated the coffee pods and pastries left for us as a welcome and also appreciated the supplies such as washing up liquid and condiments, which are very useful for a short stay. The terrace furniture was ample and comfortable. We stayed in this area last year and consider the apartment's location to be the best in Cabanas; quiet and extremely convenient for the water taxis and waterfront bars and restaurants. We had a wonderful, relaxing break. Thank you.

What a fantastic little apartment set in the lovely Cabanas. Everything you could want for the perfect stay is in the apartment. Communication with Marta was excellent and was easily contactable. Would highly recommend this property and would most likely to book this again

Fantastic location at the end of the wood promenade! Great apartment, very spacious, with everything you might need. Even the instructions leaflets are there to help you understand how to have everything work. Warm reception; attentive and discreet service. We have stayed in the bigger apartment owned by the same people and it was great for larger families but this visit was just my husband and me and this property was perfect for the two of us. Good sized rooms but cosy. Stayed for 11 nights and had change of bedding in the middle of our stay. Well equipped kitchen with fridge freezer , washing machine, microwave etc. The apartment is on the inside of the complex so not much sun on the terrace but that can be an advantage when you've been in sun all day. There are outside table and chairs. Wifi available which is a bonus if you need it. Owner met us at the apartment even though we arrived late in the evening and ensured we were happy before leaving. All in all a good place to stay as location to the boardwalk great (across the road) which also means access to beach perfect. Great value for money.

Another lovely apartment

Having been to Cabanas several times, we stayed here for a change. Absolutely delighted with wonderful position and all needed to make for a great holiday. The owner has thought of just about everything in this clean and well furnished apartment. I did have to buy a rubber bath mat as I am a little dodgy on feet and a couple more pillows would have been nice. Apart from these little things, Perfecto! Cabanas and it's array of restaurants and cafes is a few minutes walk away and the boardwalk is a great asset to the village. We always hire a car as there are many little villages, beaches and towns nearby worth a visit, but Cabanas has a bus service and train station which serves the coast from Faro to Spanish border. We have fallen in love with the village and highly recommend this apartment.
