Just know that there is train tracks across the street and the train runs from about 430 a.m. to 11 p.m. The house is nice. Nice backyard with gas firepit.

We had a great time and plenty of room! Everything was clean and comfy. My only suggestion would be to add a welcome binder so everyone staying can peek through for all the info about check out, etc… Also- not sure why it says there is an arcade but maybe I missed a note about it not being there anymore.:) But it didn’t really matter for us. A few more kitchen towels would also be nice:) But overall place was great! The train didn’t bother any of us.

Very accommodating property managers who were very responsive to my texts. Great location, very comfortable, and met our needs. As other reviewers have mentioned, just make sure you are aware that the train goes by right across the street. Not as much on the weekends.

Good condition. Very convenient for us with our wedding party. We enjoyed the firepit. The grill needs cleaning.

Overall well equipped house with a decent amount of upgrades. We found it lacking enough bath towels for the group. The listing mentioned a “game room” and there were no games. Our kids were bummed. We did enjoy the proximity to the beach and Starbucks around the corner. The washer and dryer are shared with other tenants. The upstairs only has an exterior/separate entrance which was difficult for our group but could be nice for others wanting separation. The door handle upstairs completely fell off but we were able to reattach it. The train tracks across the street were a mild annoyance which is reflected in the lower rental price. It ran several times throughout the night. During the day, the kids enjoyed seeing it, younger kids especially enjoyed the train. We appreciated the high chair being provided. Overall the neighborhood felt safe and we enjoyed our stay.

The house and the location were great! We enjoyed our vacation overall. The house is along railroad tracks, which was disclosed and can be loud at night. A neighbor who lives behind the house rang the doorbell at night and asked if her package was delivered. It appears someone stole her package from our porch. We enjoyed the stay and would return. Thank you.

Great family spot.

Our family of 6, along with another family of 4 had a great time here. Tons of room for the kids to run around and play. Just a short drive to any Carlsbad beach.

Nice place to stay in Carlsbad for families

Spacious place to stay. We were there for Legoland and beach. Legoland is right down the way and the beach is a walk away. We also walked down to the restaurant which is a bit of a walk but doable. Beds were comfy.

Great spring break staycation

We are local to San Diego, but wanted to do a little staycation for spring break near the beach. This spot was perfect 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach, restaurants nearby, and grocery stores too. Tons of space. The owner was super helpful when we were having trouble with the Internet and even came down to take care of it herself. We would definitely rent again.

Great Carlsbad property

We had a great time in a very comfortable home. It was as advertised and our 3 families had plenty of room. After an initial issue that was fixed immediately everything went very well!

Golf group

Great location for our needs….train noise a bit of a pain, but tolerable. A little sparse on some necessities (paper towels etc.), maybe an info folder, that sort of thing. Great location for the beach, and quick access to interstate and connecting roads. Would stay there again

Weekend on the Coast for National Championship game

Came to watch Georgia win second national championship. The house was great for us not to far to travel for game. Carlsbad is beautiful even in the rain. Plenty of room, comfortable and good access to Hwy and the beach

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay and the home was very clean and a great location. The only issue was the parking. There are two long term rentals on the property and they made entering and exiting the driveway difficult. They parked right up to the edges of the driveway and sometimes even encroached the driveway.

Grandbaby 1st Bday Party

Everything was perfect. Very accommodating for a large group. The loft had great space for our daughter and her little family. The train was loud but stopped in the evening. On the last day we learned we could have road it into Oceanside beach. And the distance is great from the beach if you're not bringing anything with you. We enjoyed every day spent there. Thank you

Family Wedding Week

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Is a very spacious set up with the rooms and outside sitting area with a hot tub and front porch to chill for a morning coffee. You are walking distance to the beach and very close to downtown Carlsbad. The train bothers you at first night, but you get used to it quickly and really is no issue. We enjoyed our stay!
