Close to all the county attractions – wineries, breweries, golf course, art galleries, the Drake, Wellington, Sandbanks Provincial Park and more!

This cottage is fully furnished with all you need for a county getaway. The entire property is available for your use, including a large front yard and back yard, 5 acres in total. Our cottage is an open concept bungalow, making it perfect for multiple families and large groups, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths upstairs; and the lower level has 1 large bedroom, 1 full bath and a large common area with a bar, ping pong table, pool table, cards table and Smart TV for streaming. The backyard is HUGE and comes ready for entertaining. Includes a screened in gazebo to enjoy the weather rain or shine.

We are located in rural Picton on the main county road into Sandbanks provincial park. This is one of only two roads in and out of Sandbanks. Our neighbours are farmers where you can purchase roadside eggs and seasonal fruits and vegetables. Picton is a short 10 minute drive for all your other grocery needs.

We are close to all the action - wineries, breweries, golf course, The Drake, Bloomfield, Picton, Wellington, Sandbanks Provincial Park and more!.

Summer holidays with friends and kids

We were two families (4 adults and 5 children) and the house was perfect for our group. It is very large, well equiped and in a ideal location between the beach and the wineries. I recommand this place!

We had 8 girls for a bachelorette and the place could not have been better. More than enough space for all of us and a beautiful property. Would stay again for sure! Great host. Just make sure you organize rides ahead of time if you’re a big group!

Really excellent place for your holidays

We were there for a week and we really appreciate the place. The place was really clean, all you need is there and they have pingpong table and a pool table too. Kids can have fun while adults can have a break upstairs or outside in the den. Erin is really fast to answer kindly to any questions you have. I want to thank her for all the answers and exceptional week we got.

Beautiful home! Clean, spacious and not too far from Sandbanks and some activities! Fun games room in the basement with billiards and ping pong. There is a fire pit for when needed. Comfortable beds for up to 12 people. Plenty of child proof dishes and utensils on site. Plenty of dishes for the whole group coupled with a good dishwasher. The host was easy to reach and responsive. Overall, a good choice for a family gathering.

Great house for group

Lovely, clean and comfortable house. Fantastic yard and a great place to chill and socialize or tour the local sights with a group of friends. It was well stocked with all the dishes etc so we could easily prepare meals. House was very clean and tidy. A book was available to provide information we needed. The host responded to us within minutes. The only suggestion I would make is that with each guest's towel, a washcloth could be included. My friends and I would strongly recommend this lovely house to a group or family looking for a peaceful, clean home in the Picton area.

Beautiful home

Super clean and comfortable home. Well stocked kitchen - could use a couple of larger corning ware/glass large containers to heat in oven or microwave. Kitchen table with bench ok - but chairs are so much more comfortable. Well kept grounds. Close to Bloomington and Wellington and the Sandbanks Park. Great space for a girls weekend get away. nice having king size beds that were comfortable when sharing your sleeping space. TV in main level would be nice as a little too cool in basement since hockey was on. Over all a great place and would book it again for another girls adventure weekend. Thank you Erin

We had very fun and memorable family weekend. Our family members were coming from both Toronto and Ottawa…. the house and it’s location suited us perfectly. Our grandkids loved the huge yard for all the baseball, soccer and other outdoor activities …. and when the drizzle started outside the basement games area took over for continued fun for all. The house is very well equipped and there is a generous amount of space in the living and bedroom areas. The one suggestion I did hear from our group was that a little additional lighting here and there for reading etc. would be beneficial. Any of my inquiries to the host were answered promptly so I have to say that communication was spot on excellent! …. Overall, everyone felt this house and it’s location was an excellent choice for our family get together….. thank you.

Great Family Thankgiving

This place was great for parents, along with two families (6adults 4 toddlers). The pics do not do justice. There is a baby gate which is huge for a parent and a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately the swing set in the yard is no longer there. There is a fire pit for when needed. I would consider this place again if the larger family gets together. The kitchen is stocked and clean unlike other places we have visited in the past, three adults working in parallel can fit to prepare meals. Downstairs rec room is great for hanging out, nicely setup. The location is great also, wineries, grocery or sandbanks is all just a very short drive away. There is no TV on the main floor is good for sleep time, but also to force social interaction. This place was perfect for what we needed, and a good new benchmark for us.

Summer Vacation 2 families

Our families go to PEC every year for a wk at the end of the summer. The Good/Great - generally everything was great! Nice size property, and roomy house. 3 rooms with king size beds (good quality beds) on the main floor. Comfortable couches and living room. Nice size dinning room table fit 8 people. Kitchen was well stocked. Weber BBQ outside works well. The basement has a ping pong table and a mini pool table ( fun for the kids and adults). Smart TV and couches. Kids spent lots of time down stairs (could sleep 4 or more kids down there). We played sports with the kids in the back yard. Small things that could be improved. Some sort of sun shade in the back deck. The gazebo had three windows without mosquito screens. Would be nice to also have a TV on the main floor...kids in the basement and adults upstairs. We had a great time!

Beautiful Home & Property in PEC

As the pictures show, the property is a gorgeous piece of land with a big back deck, pergola and a lovely expanse of lawn. The main "hall" includes the kitchen, dining room and living room and is big, bright and furnished with lovely sturdy pieces. The light through those windows is amazing - but it definitely gets warmer than the rest of the rooms in the afternoon sun. The kitchen is well stocked including spices and other cooking basics - handled a giant breakfast with no issue. Bedrooms are big, minimalist and outfitted with closets, hangers and suitcase racks. Beds are comfy - with the master being "so good you can melt into it". There are a few small things on the property where you can tell there's been recent damage or upcoming repairs - notably it looks like a shelf was pulled down in the downstairs bar. Overall - we had a lovely experience, using the house as our base of operations for a PEC wine tour, bachelorette party nights out and a tasteful house party. Central vacuum made it easy to clean up after ourselves, and the house rule book made it easy to meet the owners needs and locate the info we require.
