The property is well positioned on the edge of a Breton village only 7 kms from the medieval town of Dinan. It is within walking distance of local amenities, and yet benefits from a rural tranquil setting. It is accessed by an outside staircase, with an outdoor porch and you enter into the newly furbished and well equipped kitchen, with its breakfast bar and stools. You may choose to eat here or at the fold-down dining table in the cosy living room, with its log-burner. Internet access is provided, as are books and games, and a TV/DVD player. On the ground floor you'll find the utility room with storage room for bikes. There is an outdoor seating area with table and chairs.

A clean comfortable, well equipped gite

This lovely gite was centrally located in a typically 'French' village ideal for the exploring of Northern Brittany. It was comfortable and homely and the owners could not have been more helpful in making our stay memorable.

Charming, rustic gite in Corseul, Brittany

First, the owner was immediately responsive as we arranged our rental and throughout. The family that lives across from this gite welcomed us when we arrived and are wonderful, generous people. Loise, the oldest daughter, loves to practice her seemingly fluent English. The gite is an old building that has been modernized. Everything was very clean and neat. The kitchen was well-equipped for light cooking. We were comfortable. Our only caveat would be that the stairs might be difficult to manage for someone with mobility issues. Corseul is a small village that makes a great base for exploring northern Bretagne. The gite itself is a five-ten minute walk from the village center (and its Roman ruins), where there is a small grocery shop and two boulangeries. A bigger grocery store is a ten-minute drive towards Dinan. These things could not have been more convenient. We had a lovely week and recommend this gite!

Gîte petit mais très cosy, où rien ne manque des ustensiles ménagers, au linge de maison, et le charme d'une chambre mansardée. Seul petit bémol, il ne faut pas excéder la taille de 1,75m au passage de la porte d'entrée, et de la poutre de chambre

l'accueil est d'une grande bienveillance. Gîte très bien situé géographiquement et très agréable.

Marjorie et sa famille ont le sens de ce que l'on nomme l'accueil. Chacun a su être bienveillant et prévenant. Le gîte de style breton est situé dans un lieu calme et agréable. Son aménagement atypique offre des prestations de grandes qualités et de bon goût, rien ne manque pour passer un agréable séjour. Sa situation géographique permet les visites de la région aussi bien dans les terres qu'en bord de mer. Nous recommendons ce gîte, Nous y reviendrons avec beaucoup de plaisir.

CALME ET REPOSANT

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette petite maisonnette où le calme est au rendez-vous ; la propriétaire est très sympatique et prête à tout pour notre confort : très à l'écoute pour que notre séjour se passe à merveille. Häuschen mit Charakter

Der Charme dieses Feriendomizil liegt zwefelsohne in dem alten Gemäuer . Etwas abgelegen vom Strassenverkehr fühlt man sch etwas in frühere Zeiten versetzt. Nicht unerheblich zum angenehmen Aufenthalt trägt auch die führsorgliche Gastgeberin bei und noch dazu perfekt deutsch spricht . Wir denken gern an Corseul zurück .

Sehr schöner und erholsamer Urlaub

Es handelt sich hier um eine schöne kleine Gite, die ausreichend ist für 2 Erwachsene. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Lois und ihrer Mutter emfangen, da die eigentliche Vermieterin zu unserem Reisedatum nicht da war. Die Gite ist sehr gemütlich und auch funktionell eingerichtet. Wir waren sehr überrascht, dass wir vieles was wir von zu hause mitgebracht hatten, nicht brauchten. Küchenutensilien etc. Auch klasse fand ich, dass man die Waschmaschine nutzen konnte, nur leider ist der Wäscheständer wenig brauchbar. Da man dort fast nix drauf bekommt :-( Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig in einer Sackgasse. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen !!! Schade war, dass kein deutscher Fernsehsender vorhanden war und die meisten vorhandenen DVD´s entweder in Englisch oder Spanisch liefen. Schön ist es, dass man von Corseul aus ganz leicht in Dinan, Dinard ist. Auch der Mount St. Michel ist in einer knappen halben Stunde zu erreichen. Auch sollten die schönen Strände ringsrum nicht unerwähnt bleiben. Man könnte jeden Tag an einem anderen verbringen. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit sehr schönem Wetter.

Eine sehr gemütliche Fewo in Superlage

Schon vor unserem Urlaub fühlten wir uns gut betreut: Wir haben eine genaue Anfahrtsskizze und Hinweise zu unserer Ankunft zwecks Schlüsselübergabe bekommen. Auf unsere Fragen zur Fewo wurde uns umgehend und sehr ausführlich geantwortet. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir fühlten uns gleich willkommen. Die Fewo selbst ist klein aber sehr gemütlich und sauber. Vor Ort hatten wir immer einen Ansprechpartner, der uns Auskunft zur Umgebung oder bezüglich der Wohnung gab. Gerne empfehlen wir dieses zentral gelegene Domizil an Freunde und Bekannte weiter.

SUPER en tout

Nous avons été superbement bien reçus et bien renseignés. Accueil très chaleureux et aussi discret. Le gîte est très confortable, bien équipé et idéalement situé pour toutes les visites à faire alentour et de belles plages pour se baigner. J'en ai déjà parlé autour de moi. Et vraiment, nous souhaitons revenir. Nous sommes tombés amoureux de la Bretagne Nord et particulièrement de cet endroit

Magnifique petit gîte

Superbe petit gîte dans un coin tranquille de Corseul. Très coquet, et bénéficiant de tout ce dont on a besoin pour passer un merveilleux séjour. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et n'hésiterons pas à conseiller cette adresse à nos amis. Nous avons pu visiter divers coins de Bretagne, tant il y a de choses à voir dans les alentours. Allez-y, vous ne serez pas déçu ;)

Wunderschönes, kleines Appartment und ein sehr herzlicher Empfang im Norden der Bretagne

Wir können das liebevoll eingerichtete, kleine Studio-Appartment sehr empfehlen: Im Norden der Bretagne in einem kleinen Dorf gelegen, bietet es den idealen Startpunkt in den Urlaub. Dank der perfekten Lage zwischen Dinard am Meer und Dinan im Landesinneren erreicht man alle Sehenwürdigkeiten vom Mt St. Michel über das Cap Frehel bis zur Ile de Brehat problemlos und schnell. Für den Rest sorgen eine wunderbare Vermieterin und die großartigen Nachbarn, die sich um alles kümmern und uns mit selbst gemachten Crepes versorgt haben. Das Appartment ist sehr gemütlich, problemlos zu finden und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für den Urlaub braucht. Es liegt ein bisschen versteckt und etwas abseits der Hauptstraße - ideal zum erholen und ausschlafen. Corseul selbst ist zwar klein, hat aber zwei Restaurants und eine Bäckerei (ca. 10 Minuten vom Appartment entfernt), die frische Croissants, Pain au Chocolat und Baguette bereit hält. Richtung Dinan (ca. 7km) gibt es die bekannten Supermärkte. Wir haben den Urlaub, leider nur eine Woche, sehr genoßen und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Der kurzeitige Ausfall des WiFi wurde von Lois, der Tochter der netten Nachbarin Mme Renard, welche uns auch noch mit super leckeren Crêpes versorgt hat, umgehen behoben. Auch an diese noch einmal herzlichen Dank für die Betreuung. Einzig die Durchflussbegrenzung der Duscharmatur sollte überdacht werden. Zwar ist gegen Wassersparen nichts einzuwenden, aber ob 15 Min. Duschen im Nieselregen mehr Wasser sparen als 5 Min. mit Druck, erscheint uns fragwürdig (vielleicht waren wir auch zu dumm, mit der Duscharmatur richtig umzugehen - in diesem Fall nehmen wir natürlich alles zurück). Wir werden sicher wieder kommen und freuen uns schon jetzt auf den nächsten Urlaub in einer der schönsten Regionen Europas. Herzlichen Dank.

Supertolle Ferien in der Bretagne - Ideal für zwei

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Corseul sehr genossen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und wir haben das Ferienhaus nach der Beschreibung der Vermieterin ohne Probleme finden können. Das Haus ist sehr geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet und liegt etwas abseits von der Hauptstraße, d. h. man wohnt und schläft sehr ruhig. Die Lage des Hauses ist Ideal, um von dort zu Tagesausflügen zu starten. So erreicht man z. B. Sehenswürdigkeiten wie den Mont St. Michel innerhalb von einer Stunde. Herzlichen Dank nochmal an unsere Vermieterin und ihre wirklich wunderbaren Nachbarn, die unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht haben. Wir kommen wieder - ganz bestimmt.

Un super séjour !

Vraiment un lieu très agréable dans lequel on a été accueilli chaleureusement. Normalement réservé aux couples, Marjorie nous l'a aménagé pour quatre personnes. Elle nous a également donné des conseils par rapport aux lieux intéressants à visiter dans la région. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances sous son toit. Vivement les prochaines vacances !!! On y retourne. ☺

kleine Idylle für zwei

Nach den Angaben der Vermieterin haben das Ferienhaus völlig problemlos gefunden, wurden, wie angekündigt, sehr freundlich von den Nachbarn dort begrüßt und haben uns gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus ist klein, hat einen sehr niedrige Eingangtür :-) ist aber innen für ein Paar ideal, sauber, gemütlich und sehr gepflegt. Es gibt alles, was man benötigt und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Morgens kann man problemlos 10 min ins Dorf zum Bäcker gehen, die anderen schönen Häuser der Ortschaft bewundern und sich täglich mit frischen Baguettes und Schokoladencroissants versorgen. Ausserdem gibt es im Dorf noch eine Apotheke, eine Postfiliale und 2 Restaurants. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits der Hauptstrasse und man wohnt und schläft völlig ruhig. Es liegt ideal für Tagesausflüge in diverse Städte (Dinan, St. Malo, ...) oder einfach einen schönen Tag am Strand. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Delightful, snug and well-appointed

We really enjoyed our stay here. The gite is very comfortable and has everything we required. It was the perfect base for the two of us to explore the surroundings. The neighbours are very friendly too. The local area is fascinating - the gite is on the edge of a lovely village with its Church, boulangerie and a couple of restaurants. The ancient town of Dinan is only 15 mins by car and beaches are available within half an hour.

Gîte charmant et hôte accueillants!

Nous sommes ravis d'avoir passé notre séjour dans l'agréable petit gîte de la famille Cliffton. L'endroit est très calme tout en étant en ville (rue non passante, sécurisant pour enfants).Un très bon accueil nous a été réservé, panier garnis offert à notre arrivée (pain,cidre,gâteaux...). La chambre a même été aménagée pour notre bébé à la dernière minute (barrière de sécurité, jouets...).Il est idéalement placé pour profiter des beautés de la région: Mont St-Michel, St-Malo, Dinan, Dinard, Ile de Bréhat et tant d'autres! Malgrès un temps un peu limite nous avons pu profiter du jardin idéal pour les enfants (balançoire, piscine, animaux) ainsi que des petites terrasses aménagées à l'extérieur. De plus la description des lieux correspond tout à fait à l'annonce, très bon rapport qualité/prix.Enfin une location qui n'est pas volée! Ce lieux correspond aux personnes qui recherche de la simplicité, de l'authenticité et du caractère propre au patrimoine de la région.

We're a British family who love France and the French way of life. We bought our property in Corseul in 2007 and lived there for two and a half years. Although work commitments obliged us to return to the UK we've maintained our links with Corsuel and return for holidays ourselves as often as possible. I'm a language teacher (French/German/English) and offer both online lessons and immersion language courses, so please do enquire if you would be interested in having some lessons either before or during your stay.

Why they chose this property

The pro[erty is ideally located - in a tranquil semi rural setting, on the edge of the village of Corseul, within walking distance of local amenities (the boulangerie, bar-tabac, pizzeria, chemist, hairdresser, Town Hall, museum) and also the historic Roman ruins. It is also within an easy drive of main tourist sites and venues - the medieval town of Dinan, the walled city of St Malo, the Mont St Michel to name but a few. In the other direction the many golden beaches of Brittany's Northern coastline await you.

What makes this property unique

The property is a 19th century Breton stone farmhouse, with typical character traits - wooden beams, fireplaces, original stone walls, wooden stable door leading into the utility area/ games room. A stone staircase leads you up towards the property's main entrance and a little porch. In the utility room/games room you'll find the washing machine, and also the table tennis table, table football and darts. You'll have access to outdoor eating areas at both the back and the front of the house, in order to catch both the morning and the afternoon/evening sun.
