Charming cottage

Our weekend at the cottage was perfect. It had everything needed for a quiet night in. It's cozy and charming. Will definitely be booking again!

Family Visit

Deborah was great - very responsive and helpful when the weather took a nasty turn. We loved the house and it’s location - it was perfect for my daughter and I.

The only place we’ll stay

I cannot tell you how much we needed this. After 12 hours on the road (headed from Texas to Maryland) with a dog and cat in the car, we would have been glad just to have a little space to ourselves. But we were overwhelmed by how comfortable this Franklin home felt after an exhausting first leg of our 1,400 mile road trip. Spotless house, every room is more spacious and cozy than we could ask for, and our dog loves the big, fenced-in backyard. Not to mention wine, snacks, and a handwritten note from our host waiting for us when we arrived. I don’t know if we’ll need to make this drive again, but this is the only place we’ll stay along the way.

Cozy Christmas

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for the holidays. Deborah was an awesome hostess and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is convenient to downtown and everything we wanted to do. We would love to stay here again next time we are visiting!

I adore Franklin for it's friendly people and small town feel. I don't ever advertise this property on Craigslist. If you see it listed there, it is not legitimate.

Why they chose this property

Battlefield Cottage stole my heart the first time I saw it. Located on a safe and quiet street close to everything you would want to do in historic Franklin. It has the charm of an older home but the addition of new bathrooms make it super comfy.
