Relax in the cozy sitting room or sit on the back porch and enjoythe backyard. Both bedrooms have plush Queen beds and ceiling fans. Each bedroom features two large, private bathrooms with walk-in showers. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Location: The cottage is nestled on a quiet, safe street that's literally surrounded by historic venues and sites within walking distance. Walk to downtown Franklin, less than one mile away where great shops and restaurants await you. Battlefield Cottage has everything you need for a fun-filled, down-home authentic Franklin experience.

Cozy Cottage

The cottage was very cute and cozy. It is beyond pet friendly and the fenced yard is big plus. Loved the two en-suites. Plenty of big fluffy towels and all amenities including blankets and towels for the pups. Nice, quiet location. We enjoyed our stay!

This is everything I wanted my trip to Franklin to be. This place is located perfectly — near Main Street, close to a large grocery store and other tourist attractions including the Lotz House. Wonderful response from the host and so kind to allow pets. Would definitely stay here again.

Sweet, Comfortable Cottage

My family and our pups stayed at Deborah’s for three nights, and it was a truly lovely getaway. Deborah is a thoughtful and attentive host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She generously offered an early check-in (over two hours ahead of schedule) and greeted us with wine, cookies, sparkling water, and a beautifully arranged coffee and tea setup. We especially enjoyed the comfortable beds and quiet mornings spent sipping coffee on the screened porch, listening to the birds. Throughout our stay, Deborah checked in just the right amount, available when needed, while fully respecting our privacy. She even offered a late check-out, which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

The little cottage on Battlefield Avenue was perfect for my husband and me and our little dog, Biscuit! It is in a quiet neighborhood near the amazing downtown area and is decorated with antiques. Such a comfortable and homey atmosphere and Deborah is very accommodating! We would definitely return!

Cozy Spot

I enjoyed staying here so much. I needed a weekend getaway to sell my house and Deborah was the best. Everything was perfect and she was very accommodating. This is a great location in Franklin and is very close to downtown. My pup enjoyed being able to go outside and we had lots of great walks to the battlefields close by. I would definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area to stay here.

Thanksgiving Stay

Given the nice weather, we were able to walk to downtown Franklin on Black Friday. The yard was ideal for the dogs. Deborah was on top of things. She had lights on so the house looked cozy when we arrived. All in all, a great place!

Perfect getaway for our visit to Franklin!

This amazing cottage was the perfect weekend getaway to explore the quaint town of Franklin! The best part was being able to bring our pups!!! The house is cozy, well appointed and we felt at home from the very beginning. The fenced in backyard was perfect for the dogs to play for a bit when not walking them to town for an adventure! Deborah was an amazing host and her communication was excellent! We are already planning our next visit !!!

I adore Franklin for it's friendly people and small town feel. I don't ever advertise this property on Craigslist. If you see it listed there, it is not legitimate.

Why they chose this property

Battlefield Cottage stole my heart the first time I saw it. Located on a safe and quiet street close to everything you would want to do in historic Franklin. It has the charm of an older home but the addition of new bathrooms make it super comfy.
