This property is only offered with a 31 night minimum. Great location in mellow South Mission Beach! Our beach house has a great outdoor deck about 20x15 feet in size with ocean view! You can sit on the deck and watch the surf, boardwalk and the pelicans fly by! Sunsets are amazing and you are just steps away from the ocean as we are just four doors to the waves, we are located on the ocean and boardwalk side in South Mission, just south of Belmont Park and the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster. Part of a three-unit home, this property is the whole upper level located above two separate one-bedroom beach cottages. This bright and sunny unit has an open beam, vaulted ceiling that provides an authentic beach house feel. The best spot to enjoy grilling and dining on your private deck while just steps away from the deep blue sea, boardwalk, sand, and surf! The location is ideal, making this property convenient for beach activities and all the other sights you don’t want to miss while in San Diego! Check the map to see for yourself! We love our furry family, but please leave your pets at home. We have a strict no pet-policy to keep our homes clean and allergy-free for all guests! Markets and restaurants are all within a 2 to 3-block walk. Lots of bike, kayak, surfboard, and sailboat rentals are all nearby. Two King Beds plus choose from, both with king-size beds. Two bunk beds are located near the west plus a fun bunk room with both a queen size bed and 2 extra twin bunks Sofa sleeper for extra sleeping located in the living room.

Wonderful stay

Great property will come again, only thing is stove elements seemed intermittent. Met with owners at start of the stay and they were very helpful and appreciative. Will stay there again next year.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We had a great week long stay! The location is perfect and the two master king suites plus extra bedroom and sleeping areas worked so well for us. A bonus was all of the kids books! We look forward to staying again next time we come back to San Diego!

Close to everything!

So close to the beach, and we were within walking distance to Belmont Park and shops. It was just a short drive to SeaWorld and the SD Zoo. My only complaint is that with no AC and the windows open, the airplanes can get loud but other than that, it was a great space!

Great beach house for the price

The location of this property is wonderful, and the price is tough to beat. The deck provides an ocean view and a nice perch to listen to the sounds of the waves. A short walk to the beach, Belmont Park, and food, but nested in a quiet block on the southside of Mission Beach. Our family of five had more space than we needed, and the kids loved being so close to the ocean. If you’re looking for a nice spot to bring the kids and relax, this is your place. It’s not a luxurious property, but it had everything we needed. The property owners were responsive and took care of us. We would definitely rent here again!

Perfect Family Beach House!

We had an amazing week long stay over Thanksgiving! This house had everything for our small family. Our daughter loved the smaller size bunk bed and the amazing kids book collection! They had everything for a baby which can be hard to find while traveling. The open kitchen to living room made cooking meals fun and interactive with kids. We absolutely loved the location of this house. From the deck you can see and hear the waves crashing on the beach. You are only a few steps away! This house blew us out of the water and throughout our trip we continued to talk about just how awesome the house was. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!

Relaxing and enjoyable beach retreat!

Very comfortable, close to beach, well supplied kitchen, great deck, detailed info from manager and owner. Bar b que grill had issues-had fire when turned on for quite awhile. Not cleaned for a long time. Propane left totally open. Mattress in MBR is not great. Overall a relaxing time and we would definitely return. Thank you very much!

Great location if not bothered by planes.

Property has a wonderful location. We had a great time but had quite a few snags that were eventually corrected. Coffee pot was broken and they came the next day with a replacement which didn't work right but the whole thing was eventually handled. Property manager was very responsive but property needs a little maintenance, especially when it comes to the lighting. The cleaning service probably needs to follow a check list to make sure things are clean and functioning. It would also be really nice if there were some documentation provided with suggestions for local restaurants , desired shopping areas and things to see and do in the area. That was definitely lacking. Parking is a bit of a challenge if your car is sizeable at all. The place was comfy and bedding was pretty good. However, the constant sound of planes starting at about 6am was a real issue for some of our group. Definitely in the flight path of San Diego International. Other than that, we had a really nice time.

Love this home so much!

We love Sharon’s home so much!! It was such a special summer for our family to be able to spend July in wonderful Mission Beach. It is such a special place. After settling in our first day, we truly felt at home throughout the month. She has thought of everything to make your beach trip easy, relaxing and enjoyable. We can’t wait to come stay again and it was very hard to say goodbye when it came time to leave. Thank you Sharon and family for being such wonderful hosts!❤️

Perfect place by the beach

Everything was great during our stay. It has a well equipped kitchen. The short walk to the beach was ideal to bounce back and forth throughout the day. The deck gave us a good view of the sunset.

Amazing Location!

This location was perfect for what we were looking for! The deck outside was so peaceful and such a beautiful view of the ocean. I love how close we are to mission beach but still in a quaint location that was safe. The carpet had a bunch of stains in it as well as the couch and chair in master. But other than that. The bedding was clean, the house was well taken care of. And the owner was easy to communicate with!

Why they chose this property

We rented this property every summer for twenty years and one day, the owner called us and asked us if we wanted to buy it! Work hard, play hard! We love the beach and decided this was a perfect combination of both. The stage is always set for relaxation here in South Mission!

What makes this property unique

We have two buildings side by side and steps to the sand making it perfect for big families to vacation together, but still have their own private beach houses. We have one, two and three-bedroom homes to choose from and you can view and book them all on VRBO!
