A lot of charm and history in this house. Every detail is well thought out. All the green in and out was very calming. Really enjoyed our stay, a very different (in a good way) experience from touristy beach rentals.
Great location if you plan to spend a lot of time at the Volcano National Park. Comfortable and quaint cabin. Moderately equipped kitchen - had all the basics. Nice bedrooms with heated beds. Very large main living room perfect for hanging out after a long day hiking or sightseeing. Host was very responsive, not overbearing, nice overall. Definitely recommend this rental!
Very nice location within walking distance to restaurants, farmers markets, and a small grocery store. Minutes from Volcano National Park. It's a nice older home, so there is some wear and tear but the hosts are responsive with any questions. Beds were comfortable. Don't forget to bring soap! Shampoo and conditioner were provided. We enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for our needs.
2 friends looking for a place with 2 beds, this not only fit the bill but was more than we needed though nice to have! 2 full bathrooms, large dining table, fully equipped kitchen, apple tv, fireplace, heated beds and heaters available. Perfect place that is minutes from the park. Owners were extremely attentive and house is cared for with love. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.
A charming cottage and historically significant home at the center of Volcano Village. The home was spotless and the hosts checked in regularly. Kilauea erupted early one morning and the glow from the driveway was unforgettable. It was a memorable stay and will plan on staying again!
We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed. There are a few great restaurants close by and it's really close to Volcano National Park, so perfect for night time visits.

We're so glad you enjoyed our community and the park. Visit us again any time!
Our party included a couple ladies in their 70's, and they LOVED this cottage, comparing it to Jack London's cottage in Glen Ellen, California. Proximity to the National Park was wonderful, and we've always enjoyed our stays in Volcano.

We absolutely loved the historic home. The blazing wood stove took the chill off the night air. The three bedrooms worked great for our family of 5. The close proximity to Volcano National Park was fantastic.
