About this property
RIGHT ON THE RIVER IN GATLINBURG! STUNNING LUXURY LOG CABIN! BEST OF THE BEST
Welcome to River Song, the Gatlinburg cabin that fits in the "Oh My!" category. Only a mile (yes, you can walk!) from downtown Gatlinburg, River Song is a hand-crafted log cabin constructed of Yellow Pine logs. There's a reason it's called River SONG: The cabin sits directly on the Roaring Fork River, and you will hear the “song” of the rushing waters throughout the cabin, day and night, everywhere in the cabin
Fly fishers can enjoy wading up and down the Roaring Fork and catching rainbow trout – the Roaring Fork is public water and is routinely stocked, with trout reaching as large as 14 inches. Watch for bears! Bears visit River Song frequently!
Guests can sip a cup of coffee or tea watching the River on the front porch, or crank open the casement windows and watch & listen to the River from the dining and living room areas. Cooks will love the higher-end KitchenAid stainless appliances, including range, cooktop, and convection/microwave. A large, stainless steel French door refrigerator will easily hold a full stock of food items. The stocked kitchen is appointed with unique quarried granite countertops and fine cabinetry.
Guests will overlook the Roaring Fork while eating meals at the hand-built, solid hickory dining table with handmade chairs. The living room includes a stone stack wood-burning fireplace, leather furnishings, and 43 inch LED TV. The living room sofa opens into a queen bed for extra guests. Casement windows can be opened for fresh air or sounds of the River.
The hot tub deck is immediately off of the living room, and allows guests to soak take in the sights and sounds of the Roaring Fork River. Suspended from the ceiling is a lighted, antique wooden canoe.
The master bedroom boasts comfy mattresses on a large, aspen log bed. Guests can indulge in the clawfoot tub in the master bath, which includes a vanity with granite, and his and hers sinks, as well as a separate shower.
Upstairs, a billiards room awaits, with a solid aspen log, slate top pool table and mounted LED television. A guest bedroom with comfortable queen size mattresses is also upstairs, as well as a separate bathroom area with shower (no tub)
River Song has a park-style outdoor barbeque grill, washer/dryer, a private, gated bridge, and board games for the whole family.

Highly recommend this cabin. Love the sound of the rushing river. It made it peaceful. It felt like our own little slice of heaven away from the Gatlinburg bustle. It was so clean, updated, and beautifully decorated. Has everything you need. Great experience checking in and communication from hosts.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us, and look forward to seeing you again soon!
This cabin was amazing, the pictures don't do it justice. It is so relaxing and calm. If you are looking for a chill, calm, and super relaxing get away that is close to gatlinburg then this is the place you are looking for. We used the hot tub every night, listening to the river almost anywhere in the cabin just calms the nervous system. Everytime we returned to the cabin it was like being transported to our safe haven. I believe its also super important to mention that the beds are so comfortable. You don't find that in alot of VRBO's, but you will here for sure. Plus the cabin being so close to gatlinburg makes it a prime location with a calming vibe you wouldn't expect being so close to town.
This Property was perfect!! I can't say enough good things about it. We stay in Gatlinburg at least twice a year and this home was our favorite out of all of them!!Extremely clean, as I'm a fanatic about cleanliness. Location was perfect, close enough to downtown but still private. As we were sitting on the deck over the river, we saw 2 large bear & 2 baby cubs.
We enjoyed our stay at River Song. The place was clean and organized and we had great fun with the pool table. We didn't make it in the hot tub. Everyone was comfortable and we had everything we needed.
We had a lovely stay at log cabin! It is close to downtown and we took many fun hikes in the area. We enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub in particular!
This was a very nice cabin, centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. It was very clean, updated, and had all the necessities we needed for our trip. The hot tub was very relaxing and much needed after a day of hiking. The river was very pretty and soothing as I enjoyed my cup of coffee in the morning. A grocery store was 6 minutes away. The check out process might have been the easiest I've ever experienced and I've been renting for 15 years!
Our stay at the cabin was excellent! Very clean and organized. It was exactly as the description stated. Hot tub was clean and easy to use. We did walk to town but ubered back as it is all uphill. Ubers were fairly easy to get if you don't want to pay and deal with parking downtown. River is beautiful to look at and listen to. Highly recommend this cabin!
The home was beautiful and getting to see it in the snow was an amazing plus. A few things that stood out to us was the wood burning fire, relaxing view, and overall coziness with decor. Proximity to the town was very handy too. We loved staying here and hope to come back again in the future for a longer stay!
The cabin was as expected. We did not have access to TV or internet service. Contacts with property manager did not resolve the issue until the evening before we were leaving. Also, we would like to inform the owners that there are carpenter bees that are attacking their cabin.
The location was perfect. We loved the sound of the water and the cabin felt homey. Kitchen had the very basics. We did only use the toaster and coffee maker. There were a lot of stink bugs but you are in the woods and in a cabin on water. Coffee on the porch was fantastic. I thought by the pictures it was oriented differently it was fine just more cars passing on that road then I originally thought there was going to be. Over all it was lovely.
The cabin was clean and inviting. We had one small issue with the hot tub and David came out and took care of it immediately. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cabin and I’ve considered booking again!
