"Heaven On Earth" is a wonderful cabin. A secluded location with the Dan River across from the cabin. Beautiful scenery. Cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. Was the perfect combination for my wife and I. Remote and quiet for me, but all the amenities and just enough homes in the area to make my wife feel safe and connected. The unpaved portion portion of the road is well maintained, and actually smoother than some state highways. Remote, but can get to a gas station/convenience store in less than 10 minutes. The cabin had everything we needed, plus some. Plenty of spaces to relax and unwind. Great porches everywhere, including a big screened porch; along with a deck on the river on the adjoining lawn across the road. Plenty of space to let the pup run and explore.Communication with Joy was great and easy. Very easy check-in, and great instructions for everything we needed to get set up quickly and comfortably. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin and property were beautiful and exactly as pictured. It was a perfect escape from the city and even though several vehicles passed by throughout the day, it still offered plenty of seclusion and solitude.

Perfect Summer Getaway

My wife and I along with our four, four legged girls had a great time. Cabin was perfect and one of the best places we have ever stayed. Joy and Billy are wonderful hosts. Will definitely stay again and recommend to our family and friends.
