Amazing location & great space!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house! The hosts left thoughtful little touches in the main house and guest house so that it felt like we were visiting a friend’s house. The private beach was amazing and it was very convenient to walk right down there. There was ample space for our group of 9 between the main house and guest house. The sand toys, beach chairs, and other outdoor toys in the garage were a great perk. The highlight of the property is the view of the lake from the back deck! We started and ended our days there and made lots of great family memories!

Beautiful Cottage and Lake views

Lovely property. Very private and beautiful views. Cottage was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Lots of added touches to make the stay more than enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Fantastic holiday!

Staying at this beautiful home was like being at a resort. The thoughtful items they leave for guests, the beautifully decorated rooms and the wonderful view truly made our family getaway extra special. Huge dining table & large living room gave us plenty of space. Sam was extremely responsive and helpful. The beach had some rocks but also a great strip of sand for the kids to play in. The water was shallow, perfect for the three toddlers. The deck had a great breeze for those hot humid days. Yes, the apartment above the garage was more rustic but the beds were comfortable and the same thoughtful touches were there. We hope to be back next year as this was fabulous for our family after being apart due to Covid.

This place is amazing! Five stars are not enough!

I love this property! The views of the water from the house and deck are incredible. The setting is large and peaceful, with fragrant flowering bushes framing the house. It is ideal for those in quarantine with a lovely private beach, a long driveway, and stairs going down to the beach for exercising. Sam is a very kind and generous host. We stayed in the main house and did not need to use the apartment.

Very Nice!

Well maintained and comfortable. Yes, there are many stones on the beach, but there was also a fairly large patch of sand for beach sitting. The swimming is excellent for children.

Family vacation

The property was spotless and well stocked. There were some lovely touches ! It was as described on site. We had 6 adults and 3 small children. There was plenty of room with feeing of spaciousness. The above garage apartment worked well for one of our families. The deck was amazing - shades and comfortable during the heat of the day. Views from deck and living room are stunning. The beach was rocky and slippery for the first few feet which I understand is the result of the high water levels. Once past the stones it was great for the kids as shallow for quite few feet. There is a great boat launch in Crystal Beach - minutes from the property. Ridgeway is minutes away for shopping and necessities yet the property itself Is very private. Sam was great to deal with and very accommodating.

Excellent Lakehouse

Everything is as described. The property was clean and well stocked with essential supplies. Lots of seating areas inside and out. The beach is beautiful, you do have to step over a few rocks but then it’s sandy and knee deep for yards out. Easy to run in to town for food, etc.

Two week stay on Lake Erie near Ridgeway.

Sam was a pleasure to deal with. Some nice touches for our stay. Biggest issue is the beach that is very stoney. Everything worked well. The fourth room is above the garage which may be a draw back for some.

This property is spotless, and very well appointed. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. It is a very quiet location all while being very close to local amenities. It is a very short bike ride to downtown Ridgeway, and the access to the Friendship trail is a big bonus!

Family Vacation

Enjoyed our 1 week stay in Canada; the location was great; the interior of the home was clean & exactly as presented. The garage apartment was nice, but a bit rustic. Given all the rain this spring, the outside deck was a bit of mess that required an hour or two of clean-up to make it usable. All in all, happy with our stay.

Location: for most of us a short drive to some of the world's best attractions, not just Niagara Falls, but also the wineries (comparable to Napa Valley), trails, Instagram scenic drives, and Niagara on the Lake.
Sandy Beach: kids and older kids can swim in warm water (unlike the rest of Canada) with little supervision so no need to get on a plane to the Caribbean.
Separate guest house: as we all need absolute privacy sometimes.
Activities/Supplies: you will never get bored if you are active.
