About this property

Manasquan Retreat - family home near a park and 1.5 miles to the beach

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, this is our fulltime home. We rent out the home when we are able to be away, either traveling or staying in town with family. We are a 5 minute walk to Main St. Manasquan and 1.5 miles to the beach. All guests (besides children) must be ages 27 and up to book (besides children staying with their parents). THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOME. We rent mainly to families or small groups of friends who are responsible and considerate of our home and nearby neighbors. Truly perfect for young families. There is a lovely park for kids behind the house and a nice patio, fire pit and grill.

There are 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. There is one downstairs bedroom with a full-size bed as well as a full bathroom with tub shower. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one bathroom is in the hallway and the other is in the master bedroom. For 2026, we are only renting out three of the bedrooms upstairs, each has a queen size bed. If your family really needs the fifth bedroom, please reach out and we will see if we can accommodate.

Guests are asked to bring bath and beach towels.

Great place to stay!

Our adult group was in the area to do some shipwreck SCUBA diving. The house is in a great location, it was a short walk to town and 5 minute drive to the marina. The hosts were responsive and helpful.

Great getaway

My family and I travelled in from different states for a memorial and reunion. This house was a great landing spot for all 10 of us. The main floor bedroom & bathroom were perfect for my parents who have mobility issues and having two AC systems allowed us to adjust each floor as needed. The backyard was a lovely place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or read a book in the afternoon. The house location is walking distance to a cute Main Street with shopping and cafes, as well as within 15min drive to several great beaches. All in all, we loved our stay.

Family Vacation at the Shore

Perfect rental for families. Hosts were responsive and offered great local recommendations. Easy check-in/out. Location is a short walk to Main Street shops and restaurants and short drive to the beach.

New Years weekend stay

This house is great for families! We stayed at the house for 3 nights over the New Year weekend. Having two couples with three young kids (1,2 and 3) it was a perfect setup. The kids loved all of the toys to play with. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit at night. They have everything you may need from linen to kitchen items. It was clean and nicely setup. The owners are very responsive to questions too. We walked to the nearby playground and also took a short drive to the point pleasant beach boardwalk. It would be nice to use in the summer I’m sure. Overall we had a great stay! Thank you!

This is a great place to stay if you have kids. Lots of places to sleep, fun playroom, fenced in backyard. Property was super clean and close to attractions. Homeowner was responsive and friendly. A+
