Enjoy a stay on 2-bedroom sailboat next to popular restaurants and beaches on Lk MI and Muskegon Lk.
IMPORTANT: Our marina doesn't allow VRBO so renter will get choice of local marinas and we'll facilitate a slip rental for your stay. This is included in the listed rental price. We're kind of excited for this change, since it'll give more options to where you want to stay.
The front bedroom features a custom queen sized mattress v-berth while the other bed is more like a single or small double. There's a kitchen and main lounge area. It comes with a fridge and stove for your use. There's a full bath onboard, but it's the typical boat shower. There's a bath-house in the marina if you're more comfortable showering there or using it's toilets for non-number ones! We've stocked it with bedding and sheets, basic utensils, coffee, and a few sodas to help make you stay more enjoyable.
You'll love fishing from the boat (poles includes) or listening to the live music from Docker's restaurant on the weekends. The views/sunsets are amazing.
The coolest part of our boat listing is that you get to experience the boater life without the costs or hassles. Relax as the boat traffic gently rocks you asleep. However, it's in protected cove, so rough weather rarely makes a difference.

Very clean and roomy enough for 2 to 4 people. Very unique experience living the boat life. The bath house was extremely clean and stocked with shampoo and body soap for use, which was a nice touch by the marina. Highly recommend, and might come back next year!

Thanks Brent! Let us know if you want to book again.
We had a nice weekend with beautiful weather. The beach area behind the marina was a nice spot to lay around in the sun and watch the boats. The sailboat itself we stayed at was just the right amount of room for us! Not too small. The basket which was left with the bottle of wine some coffee and a couple of snacks in addition to the sodas and water was also a thoughtful touch! Great communication with the owners when needed.

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for the kind words. We're glad you enjoyed the stay.
Michael and Vanessa are great hosts. It is obvious they cared about our stay and our comfort there. Staying on a boat was a interesting experience for me and we enjoyed it. Very friendly people, every one we met, at the marina were welcoming. This place is worth a try, absolutely.
I wish I would have rebted the boat for a month. What a great spot, marina, close to beach, restaurants. The boat was amazing to hang on and very comfortable.

It was great meeting you! We're very happy you enjoyed your stay.
Looking for something different than staying in the same old Hotel Room or Rental Home, then this is what you are looking for. All the comforts of home but in a completely different environment. Something we've always wanted to do and finally got an opportunity to try and enjoy.
Ahoy!

We set out to do something a little different and we got it, staying on a sailboat was super relaxing and cozy, would not be great for people with hyper children because quarters are a bit tight but 2 adaults was perfect. all of the "neibors" we ran into were super friendly and the community showers/bathrooms were more than satisfactory

We're glad you had a great time. Happy to have you again!
The boat was very comfortable: The a/c kept it cool during our July stay. The marina is gorgeous and quiet. The location is perfect, with an easy walk to beaches on Lake Muskegon and Lake Michigan

We're glad you had fun. We'd love to have you again. Just let us know!
The owners are super nice and helpful. The boat is a unique experience. Its a little inconvenient to take a shower at the bath house. Especially when it is so hot. But the boat is beautiful and was nice to sleep on. Not suitable for children but a great experience for a getaway.

Hi Angie,
Thanks for the review. We use to have our kids out there, but they grew up around boats. Let us know if we can host you again!
Nice place for a young couple. The owners had some snacks and a bottle of wine there waiting for us. That's was nice. The bathroom house is where we showered and went to the bathroom and they were very clean. Dockers restaurant on the marina was very clean, nice servers and great food. Music all weekend. We brought our kayaks and were in them most of the time. I'm glad we tried the sailboat life out for a weekend.

About the host
Your host
West Michigan born and raised, married with 3 beautiful children, two dogs, turtles, rabbits, and now a duck!
We got into boating about 10 years ago now. We've got a power cruiser and the sailboat listed here. It's our goal to share the joys and uniqueness of staying out on a boat, but without the extra expense and stress that typically go with it. Our kids love to fish, walk to the beach, and if they've been good (who am I kidding...) go to Dockers or The Deck for a late afternoon snack/dinner.
We can't wait to host you.
Why they chose this property
It's a BOAT! Need we say more?
Not too many boats have two bedrooms, so you'll have your own space, and the creature comforts of home. AC, TV, Wifi, Cable, etc...
What makes this property unique
Staying on the water, not next to the water, is unlike anything else.
