Italian interior in wooded area near TIEC

We’ve been married for over 10 years and during those years, we’ve traveled to over 20 countries. We’ve backpacked, camped, flown and cruised many of this countries. And after seeing so many beautiful places, we always came home and felt so happy to come back to a beautiful, peaceful place. We feel so happy to see the beauty of our tree covered mountains, waterfalls, rivers and lakes that we decided to build 2 small homes so people could see what we’re so thankful to come back to.
We embarked on this project 2 years ago. With a “home made” blue print, we started building this house ourselves. Just our 4 little hands and the ones of good close friends from time to time. We hope while you stay here and travel around our area, you can also bring back home a new experience... a new discovered beauty like the ones we find everywhere we go.

After going to Italy, Spain, Morocco, Mexico and many other beautiful countries, we wanted to bring some of that beauty our way. You will notice this on the beautiful walls in this cottage.
The kitchen is fully equipped with the things you’ll need such as a Keurig, coffee, dinnerware, cookware, toaster, .
After a nice day out, you can enjoy your evening on the porch listening to the birds or inside catching up on your favorite TV show. We provide Cable as well as Netflix. Our queen bed will give you a good night rest to wake up the next day feeling ready for a new adventure.
In the bathroom you’ll find clean towels , hand soap and toiletries.
In case you need to do a wash, we provide a washer and dryer for your convenience.
And for an extra fixture, you’ll have a small room with a utility sink.

If you’re traveling with family or friends and want to stay near each other, but not in the same house, we have 2 separate houses on the same property. Each house has 1 bedroom but there is a sleeper sofa in each living room that will fit 2 more. We’ll really appreciate if you let us know if you’ll be booking for 4 instead of 2, that way we can make sure the whole party will have plenty of towels.

We have a small trail around our house in a wooded area which will be perfect to walk your dogs.

If hiking, rock climbing, waterfalls, trout fishing or kayaking gets you outside, we are surrounded by free access places. We provide an information sheet with recommended areas.
We are exactly one hour from airports such as Asheville (NC) Charlotte (NC) and Greenville (SC).

The road the house is on borders Hwy 221 and 74.
Hwy 40 and 26 are less than 30 minutes away.
