This property is in the lovely, upscale mountain community of La Canada. The spacious guest house is behind the main house on the property. There is a long, gated driveway and our parking spot was behind the guest house where we could park but it was sometimes challenging (tight) to get turned around to drive forward out of the property. The hosts couldn't have been nicer and responsive to our needs. They quickly replaced a TV, dishwasher and showerhead while we were there for this long stay. Now they have made all of these updates! We had a few nice family gatherings in the spacious dining /living room and kitchen area with our family who live nearby. The washer dryer in the attached garage made doing laundry very convenient. The kitchen was fairly welll stocked although I wish there were a few more items that would have been useful. Overall it was a good stay in a very convenient location for us near plenty of good restaurants, the great walking community of Montrose (part of La Crescenta) and easy access to get anywhere in LA.

Wonderful private oasis near everything!

Karen and Tom have created a spacious and comfortable place to stay that has all you need to feel at home while enjoying the beautiful Pasadena/Foothills of California. They are great hosts that were so responsive to our questions and needs. We stayed for 3 months so we were delighted to have a kitchen (and BBQ!) that provided all we needed to home cook. We enjoyed sitting on deck and reading, curling up on the large couch to enjoy the entertainment system and retiring to the comfy King sized Bed for a quiet and restful sleep. It was the best home away from home we have ever had and would recommend their place to anyone seeking a comfortable quiet stay with all the amenities of home!

Rose Bowl Sleep Over

My wife and I wanted a place to stay close to the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl but away from the madness of New Years Day in Pasadena. This property met all of our expectations. In the exclusive La Canada Flintridge area, we were only 15 minutes out from Pasadena, yet had the quiet comfort of a country club setting. The house was modern and clean, with a very comfy king sized bed. We will definitely rent here again.
