Come unplug and relax in our cabin nestled in the blueridge mountains!

Escape from it all and spend a relaxing vacation at West Fork Cottage (3 bedrooms, 2bath) nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Rest and relax at this cozy cottage with comfortable accommodations for 6 guests. Spend your days hiking, fishing, mountain biking, kayaking and exploring the Land of Waterfalls.

Come back from your adventurous day, enjoy a meal on the grill, relax around the fire pit and soak in the peaceful surroundings and cool mountain air.

Guests have full access to the property including amenities such as WiFi, Satellite TV, screened porch, deck, gas grill and fire pit.

West Fork Cottage is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains with a beautiful view of Pisgah-Owen Mountain. The West Fork of the French Broad river is across the way from the cottage. Just down the road, enjoy Panther Town Valley (sometimes referred to as the Yosemitie of the East), with 30 miles of trails where you can hike, fish and bike!

We are about 20 miles from Brevard and Cashiers, NC (great breweries, restaurants and local shopping) and 40 miles from the Asheville Regional Airport (AVL). You can enjoy all the Blue Ridge Parkway, Gorges State Park, and the Pisgah National Forest have to offer in the Land of Waterfalls . Enjoy hiking, fishing, biking, kayaking at nearby lake (Tannassee Creek 4 miles or Wolf Creek Lake 6.7 miles) or go canoeing on the French Broad River. We are also 45 minutes from Dupont State Forest where you can do some epic mountain biking.

Met friends for Thanksgiving and the place was perfect. Nicely decorated, lots of towels, comfortable beds, large fire pit. Was a wonderful stay!

The owner made sure that we had everything we needed. There were lots of extra little touches like lights on the porch and decorations for Halloween that made it feel homey. Loved staying in this home.

Nice quick getaway

We we’re dropping our daughter off at a friends house that’s having a baby and we stayed for a couple of days. The house is Beautiful and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely home tucked away in the mountains

We loved this property. It was cozy, clean, and well furnished with everything we needed for our weekend in the mountains. The gathering spaces, inside and out, were perfect for catching up with friends and family. The location was great: close to Lake Toxoway and miles of accessible hiking trails. This is a great home for those looking to unwind and disconnect (but still have reliable internet!). Thank you!

Lovely cabin in the woods

We loved this cabin. We went on a Girls Trip here and had the best time. It was clean and had wonderful personal touches. There was plenty of seating in the living room and kitchen, towels and other essentials. Everyone was comfortable and had the space they needed. We had a great tome sitting around the fire pit or chatting in the screened porch. We hope to be back one day!

Cozy and quiet

The house was beautifully decorated and cozy. They went above and beyond with little touches to make the stay enjoyable...down to marshmellows for cocoa and to make smores at the firepit. The only thing was the 2nd bathroom was downstairs and only accessible by going outside to get to but it wasn't an issue for us. If we ever decide to go out that way again, we would definitely see if it is available!

Wedding Weekend

We were in the area to attend a wedding, I needed somewhere for the grandparents to stay. It was close enough to be incredibly convenient, and far enough away so that the late night celebrations didn’t keep the grandparents up. Love the accommodations!

Two thumbs up!

A beautiful cabin tucked away in the mountains with no one around for miles (or at least it felt that way), this was the perfect home base for our adventures. Coffee on the porch or deck in the morning, s’mores around the fire pit at night, it was wonderful. My only suggestion would be to add a toaster to the kitchen and a few more towels to the linen supply but other than that no complaints just fantastic memories of our time there. Would definitely stay again!

Secluded with nice fire pit.

Definitely recommend this place. The fire pit is amazing and plenty of wood was provided. The beds are very comfy and the open kitchen and wood accents are very cool.

Loved this place!

We loved this cabin! The decor inside was absolutely beautiful and I cannot tell you how immaculate this place is kept! The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of towels and plenty of all other neccessities. I will definitely stay in this cabin every time I am in the area. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. I can't wait to stay here again!!

Nice secluded house in the mountains

This was our first time in NC. Loved this area. Very mountainous, winding roads, and seclusion. A lot of beautiful scenery, hiking, fishing, etc. Would definitely return in the future. We explored from Brevard to Highlands. We even ventured to Bryson City and took a trip on the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad.

Secluded get away

This is a clean and quiet property 30 minutes away from Cashiers and Brevard. We explored Gorges State Park, which is close by. Highly recommend a trip to Rainbow Falls if you stay here!
