Great spot in Talkeetna. Cabin is cute and cozy and well stocked with everything you need. Short drive to town, we walked (about 1.5 km). Very clean. Would stay here again!

Great place to stay in Talkeetna. Comes equipped with everything you might need. My only issue was the beds. It’s really just one bed and two fold out beds that are just not comfortable and very small. No way you could sleep 5 people here.

It was a very cute cabin, very clean, everything was tidy, but this is not a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin, it is a 1 bedroom and 1 and a 1/2 bath, there are two pull out couches and one regular bed, pull out couches do not make a bedroom, and to be a full bath there has to be a least a shower, the up stairs bathroom room has no shower.

We had a great stay at the Chinook Bear. The place was very clean, tidy, and had everything that we could have asked for. Only a mile away from the town center, it made for an easy walk or very fast drive. We would definitely stay again!
