PARADISE CHALET - Adorable new year 'round rental on Paradise Lake - sleeps 6 and has nice Paradise Lake access with a cabana and a dock. It comes with 2 bikes and 2 kayaks.

This newer lakefront property with sunset views over beautiful Paradise Lake has a private sandy beachfront with a cabana and "L" shaped dock. Bring your water toys but we offer 2 kayaks for your use. We also provide 2 adult bikes. Paradise is a great fishing Lake so bring your poles. Paradise Chalet is located just minutes from Mackinaw City and the ferries to Mackinac island but offers you a private and peaceful retreat to return to. It's nestled in a quiet cove and surrounded by forest. This spotless cottage is light and airy with lots of windows and amazing views of Paradise Lake. It offers everything you need to enjoy your vacation - just bring your groceries! The master bedroom adjoins the bathroom on the main floor and has a queen sized bed. The upstairs loft has another 2 queen size beds. The main floor has an open design with living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a very large deck drenched in sun which faces the lake. The cottage features central air and a washer/dryer, WIFI and gas grill.

The location is so perfect to enjoy Northern Michigan. Situated minutes from Mackinaw City, the Mackinac Bridge, St. Ignace (the gateway to the Upper Peninsula) Cheboygan, the Inland Waterway, Les Cheneaux Islands, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Good Hart, Charlevoix - the list goes on and on! Golf, fish, boat, swim, ski, hike, bike, antiquing, casinos, winery/brewery tours. What's your pleasure?

The fall colors are unbeatable and there are lots of opportunities for viewing them. Organized bike rides, road races for runners and winery and brewery tours are very popular.

If you love biking, the North Western State Trail can be accessed through Carp Lake and passes through many communities along the way, including Conway, Oden, Ponshewaing, Brutus, Pellston, Van, and Levering. In 2018, the scenic route was recognized with a National Recreation Trail designation.

The spring and fall are great for bird watching - especially the hawk migration in early spring. We've personally witnessed it and it takes your breath away to see the hundreds of raptors circling the sky to make their annual crossing of the Straits of Mackinac.

Michigan Trip

My boyfriend and I planned a long weekend away. Location was great. Close to Mackinaw City. water with dock across the street. Great view of the water. Everything was true as stated in the listing. The property could have used some finessing. Lots of spiders and cob webs. Inside and out. We are used to more complimentary items to cook with like seasonings, foil and things to put left overs away in.

Really Nice Lakefront Cottage

This cottage is clean and cozy, with wonderful lake views. The lakeside deck and dock, along with 2 kayaks for guests to use, were great. We had an enjoyable stay!

Family getaway

The cottage was perfect for our family of four. Beautiful view of the lake and close to Mackinaw City. Spent most of our days in the city or island so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the lake. We were able to enjoy beautiful sunsets though.

Untreated water

The well water used to water the grass also went all over the cars. The well water, sun and wax did not work well togeather. The whole side of the car looked bad and washing had no affect. The host was very nice and contacted the owner, but he ignored me. my call.

Perfect vacation spot

This house was perfect. We did not experience any problems. The location was great. The weather didnt cooperate so didnt get to kayak but there are 2 nice kayaks to use. Very safe area. Kitchen had everything we needed. There was plenty of paper products, soaps, etc. Lots of towels. One of the nicest rentals we have stayed in. Highly recommend.

Carp Lake

Cute place! Nice big loft. Having a washer and dryer was convenient. Caught some decent sized fish off the dock. Use of kayaks was a wonderful bonus! We really enjoyed our stay!

Great proximity to Mackinaw City. Quiet, was able to wind down from hectic daily schedule. Photo of large bluegill is misleading for those interested in fishing.

Anniversary getaway

This is our second time staying at this property and we love it! The house is right across the road from Paradise lake and has a pier and kayaks that can be used. The house is very comfortable and remotely located. However, you are still close to Mackknaw City and the ferry to Mackinac Island. It is so peaceful and quiet. We have seen and heard loons both times we have stayed here. We hope to come back again in the future.

Relaxing spot

Cottage is away from the hustle and bustle, but only a short 10-15 minute drive to Mackinaw City and the ferry to the island. The lake is very close, just across the road and a nice view from the cottage.

Family Getaway

Had a lovely time staying at this property. The space size was perfect for my two children under five to sleep upstairs in the two queen beds and a bedroom at the bottom of the stairs for my husband and I to sleep. There is a dock across the street, but not a sandy “beach spot” for kids to play. Easy access to Mackinaw City with a short drive. We also drove to Petosky which was only a 40 minute drive for us. There were some items in the home such as pots, pans, utensils, etc. for cooking at the property. Washer and dryer on site was nice to wash items with two little children. We did run out of things such as toilet paper and paper towels while on site, and there was some stuff to wash clothing but may want to bring your own. Same with cooking oils if you decide to eat at the property. Easy to check in and check out procedures were simple and easy!

Great place to stay for a Mackinac Island

Very clean and cute cabin on Paradise Lake. It was the perfect base for day trips to the island. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this property!

Very wonderful!!!!

This cottage was beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed everything about it. It is well decorated without being cluttered. It was spotlessly clean. Everything about the check in and check out was simple. The private dock was so peaceful. We loved kayaking. The bikes look to be very nice, although we did not have a chance to use them. We hope to return in the future. Thank you!

Beautiful Stay

LOVED the area and the property! It was far enough in the woods that it made us feel like we were truly away from it all! The lake was awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks. Although it was cool weather, and we did not swim, my 3 year old grandson absolutely had a blast splashing in the water and throwing rocks. Water shoes advised since there are many rocks near shore. This was one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed and the house really was lovely!

Wonderful place to stay!

The chalet was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The location was in a quiet location, but close to all the area attractions. The lake was beautiful and relaxing. I would higly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.
