Log cabin with hot tub and a recreational barn. We are 45 min to Nashville 30 min to the airport. Private gated 11 acre property. Farm to Table environment with organic garden to pick in season, gather your own chicken eggs for breakfast and chill with the Pigmy goats. Direct access to Old Hickory Lake for camping, hiking, kayaking & fishing. Work remote with a 1G Internet. No parties over six without owner approval. Property is a site location for movie, films and music videos. No commercial video, photos or filming without the consent of owner. Additional fees will be incurred for parties in the barn. We have a very strict cancellation policy please review before reserving your stay.

What a wonderful experience!

We loved everything about this stay and the property itself! The owners were super sweet, even leaving fun notes on the board outside the door. Getting a chance to feed the goats was cool and we enjoyed walking the property with the owners. Would recommend this property to anyone interested!

Great time and great hosts!!

We had an absolute great time!! So enjoyed getting to the know the hosts as we set around the bon fire. They are very hospitable and friendly. The cabin was beautiful, and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub, the chickens and especially the goats. We will defiantly be back. Thank you so much Jill and LJ.

Mini vacation 2023

Very relaxing and unique getway!

We really enjoyed our week at the cabin! We were pleased to find that it was spotlessly clean and felt more like a home than a rental. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are very comfortable, and they even have a fully shelf of boardgames and records to play. Our son had a blast looking at the goats and chickens and we had plenty of fresh eggs from the coop! Owners Jill and LJ were extremely responsive and always got back to us within a few minutes. We've stayed at lots of rental homes and this is definitely among the best!

Perfect country wedding or getaway!

The cabin had everything you’ll need! A cozy den with fireplace, kitchen was stocked with coffee, pans, utensils…etc etc. The front porch had a great view and the back porch had a private hot tub, grill, swings and furniture. Our host was so friendly and easy to contact!! Beautiful venue/barn for a small country wedding.

Fun on a “farm”

We honestly loved everything about our stay. Visiting the chickens and goats was a great way to start each day! Plenty of space and great hosts. Would love to stay again!

Great cabin in TN

The property and the owners exceeded our expectations. We chose the cabin because my kids and I love goats. Being able to hang out with and feed the goats was definitely a bonus. If we make it back to Tennessee we will definitely stay at Billy Goat Hill.

Excellent log cabin experience

Beautiful setting and very quaint log cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, very well maintained, and had everything we needed. LJ and Jill were very welcoming and are working hard to create an amazing pavilion on the property that will be fabulous for parties in the near future.

Great family trip!

Kitchen is generously stocked with top grade appliances, great back porch and plenty of space to play in the venue to avoid sun or rain. Plenty to do with hiking and kayaks or games that are available. Beds and pillows are amazingly comfy!

We loved our stay!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Billy Goat Hill Cabin. The hosts were so helpful and gracious. They gave my grandson the opportunity to gather the chicken eggs and feed the chicken and goats. Every morning he wanted to go outside to check on them. The cabin was spotless and well equipped. We will definitely stay there again.

Weekend getaway

We stayed at the cabin for a long weekend in October. The property was beautiful and serene. LJ and Jill were fantastic hosts. They couldn’t have been more helpful, always answering our questions right away and giving suggestions on things to do. We enjoyed feeding the goats and lounging in the hot tub in the evenings. It’s a short drive to Nashville, but far enough away to relax and get out of the busyness of the city.

Music Performers Country Haven

What an amazing stay while in town for a musical event. This music inspired cabin is the perfect place for writing music and the decor really gets you ready to hit the stage. As an artist I LOVED the amazing vanity for getting performance ready. The hot tub was amazing for unwinding after a show and the super comfy bed provided me with plenty of rest to perform day after day. The owners were amazing and so incredibly sweet and if I am ever in need of somewhere to stay in this area again I would book this in a heartbeat.

Family Nashville Vacation Getaway

Billy Goat Hill Cabin was everything we expected for our family vacation and more. It had a well stocked kitchen, and the beds were heavenly after a long day of activities. Morning coffee on the porch listening to the birds, chickens and goats started my day. The property is beautiful and so relaxing. Thanks to LJ for lighting the firepit for S'mores, great conversations, history of the property, and stories of Rattlesnake Annie and her music. The best cabin vacation we have experienced and made some memories we won't soon forget. Jill we missed meeting you. Next time... we will be back!

Not as secluded as I imagined

We would have liked a little more privacy during our stay. At times we hung out with the property owner and their neighbors. However the property owner did let our 13 year olds drive around on his four wheeler. There was also construction going on during our stay.

Best rental property we've ever stayed in...

I can't compliment the hosts enough on this property and their hospitality. This is by far and away the best place we've ever rented. The cabin and barn are great, everyone loved how much time we got with the chickens and goats and the hosts Jill and LJ were incredible. They were so accommodating, so much fun to hang out with and so generous to us. We had fresh eggs every morning (and night if we are honest) and they both went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Our daughters had so much fun feeding the goats and chickens, holding the chickens and walking the goats around the property. I hate that we only got to stay a weekend. We will definitely be back to stay longer. Billy Goat Hill Retreat is an absolute must stay and so much fun!!!

We live part time in the Washington D.C area and at Perry Cabin. We work in Federal IT Solutions supporting many government agencies. When we can we try to get away to our cabin for a relaxing down time with our family. We wanted to share our cabin experience with others through social media. We hope you enjoy our cabin the way we do when we get to get away from the city.

Why they chose this property

We were traveling back and forth between Nashville and Washington D.C. We decided to look for a place in the Nashville area. We walked in the cabin and said to ourselves...This is home.

What makes this property unique

The cabin is such a quiet, private and romantic getaway. You will find that once you stay you don't want to leave. We offer to our guests kayak rentals as well as a farm to table breakfast cooked by a Southern chef.
