This property has no viable air conditioning upstairs and no air conditioning of any sort downstairs. This results in completely incompatible accommodation in hot weather. As there is effectively no window in the sole bedroom upstairs it becomes absolutely stifling in a short period of time. The house is full of the owners goods which in some ways can be considered quaint however it is not at all to the standard of accommodation for the high price that is charged, including many basic items that are either missing or not functioning appropriately. It needs some significant investment to bring it up to an appropriate standard for rental. Despite its excellent position in the beautiful village of Limeuil, I simply cannot recommend this property to any potentially interested party.

A lovely place to stay.

This is a lovely old house in a lovely old village. The house has all the up to date features that make it easy to stay in. A particularly nice feature is the outdoor terrace with a view of the surrounding countryside. The owners, who live next door, are welcoming and helpful, but not in the least intrusive.

herrlicher Aufenthalt

A little slice of heaven.

We were thrilled with this property. Everything was enchanting. The best equipped kitchen we have ever encountered ( we love to buy the local produce and cook in.) Marc and Ophelia are truly welcoming and helpful. This spot in Perigord nord has endless sightseeing opportunities. Cannot recommend highly enough
