Another great stay at the farmhouse
My family and I enjoyed another week staying at the farm house. As usual everything was clean orderly and ready for our arrival. Sandra is an excellent host and her communication is always prompt. We can’t wait to come back again next year.

Charming home
We loved staying at this house, a perfect combination of charming, quaint Vermont, and the modern updates needed for a comfortable summer stay. Sandra responded immediately whenever we had questions, and we appreciated all of the attention to detail that made our stay even more special. From the house, it was a quick walk to downtown Poultney, and an easy drive to Lake St. Catherine, blueberry picking at Hicks Farm, and hiking around a Japanese Zen garden and up Mount Zion in Hubbardton. We hope to return to this beautiful home soon!

Vermont Get Away
Quaint home with beautiful view of farmland and woods. Sandra is an excellent host, who is readily available for questions and concerns. Many great restaurants in Poultney center. Short trip to Manchester for shopping, fine dining and to visit the summer home of Robert Todd Lincoln.

Another great visit to the farmhouse
My family and stayed at the farmhouse for the second year in a row. Just like last year everything was clean and orderly when we arrived. The house is charming and just as described in the site. Dealing with Sandra was a pleasure as she is always quick to respond. We look forward to coming back again next year!

Why they chose this property

Poultney, VT has always been a special place for me, ever since spending childhood summer vacations at Lake St. Catherine State Park. Each year we would drive by the beautiful home at 341 South Street in Poultney to see the home where my mother grew up. Built in the 1920s, the Botsford Farmhouse had always been a warm and welcoming home where friends gather and families create memories. During its rich lifetime it has been at turns a single family home, a boarding house for teachers at the local High School and college, and a relaxing vacation property.

In the Spring of 2018 I was fortunate enough to take over the care of this special property. After fully renovating the property, I am now happy to share this home with guests who would like to enjoy the peacefulness, beauty and warmth of this beautiful part of Vermont.
