Recently renovated in the spring and summer of 2018, the home features restored hardwood floors, a full kitchen with all necessary amenities, two completely renovated full bathrooms, five bedrooms and, a dining room, office and living room. The home has been tastefully decorated with a combination of antiques and modern furniture. Why they chose this property
Poultney, VT has always been a special place for me, ever since spending childhood summer vacations at Lake St. Catherine State Park. Each year we would drive by the beautiful home at 341 South Street in Poultney to see the home where my mother grew up. Built in the 1920s, the Botsford Farmhouse had always been a warm and welcoming home where friends gather and families create memories. During its rich lifetime it has been at turns a single family home, a boarding house for teachers at the local High School and college, and a relaxing vacation property.
In the Spring of 2018 I was fortunate enough to take over the care of this special property. After fully renovating the property, I am now happy to share this home with guests who would like to enjoy the peacefulness, beauty and warmth of this beautiful part of Vermont.
