Beautiful beach house with fenced in yard, double porches and the comfort of a "home away from home" for your Cape Charles Vacation. This home is a short walk to the beach (4 blocks), one block from the town park and public Tennis/Pickle Ball Courts, and just around the corner from the wonderful Oyster Farm Restaurant and Events Venue.
It offers three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths with an outdoor shower. The spacious master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and adjoining full bathroom, 40" Smart Flat Screen TV, and home office space on the 3rd-floor private level. There are two guest bedrooms and a full bathroom on the second floor; one bedroom offers a queen-sized bed and a 32" Smart Flat Screen TV, with a door to the upper-level porch to enjoy the evening breeze. The third bedroom is perfect for adults and children, furnished with a full over full-size bunk bed, a twin trundle bed, and a 32" Flat Screen TV. This room also offers an Infant Pack-N-Play, Baby Gate, Board Games, Children's Books, and a door to the upper-level porch, which is secured with an upper lock if needed to ensure safety for children.
The living area has an open floor plan between the kitchen and the living room. The living room offers a 50" Samsung Flat Screen Smart TV, a comfy sleeper sofa (queen), and two swivel chairs. Our home has Free Wi-Fi, Spectrum Cable, Roku's, and all the Smart TVs' features.
The kitchen is well furnished for dining in; all updated stainless steel appliances, pots & pans, and small appliances (crock pot, toaster, blender, coffee maker, etc). We also have a nice custom farmhouse dining table, a bar area, and an infant high chair for dining.
The backyard is perfect for grilling out, with a gas grill, picnic table, and fenced-in yard. We also offer an outdoor shower, storage shed, and 4 beach chairs. We have a golf cart available to rent for $275 per week and adjusted rates for shorter stays. There is a security camera placed on the front porch for additional security while the home is vacant and during turnover, however, we do not keep it on while you are occupying the home.
Take advantage of one of the best Charter Captains on the Eastern Shore, Wilson Cropp, to guide you on an amazing fishing excursion to catch the Eastern Shores finest: Flounder, Red Drum, Cobia, Striper, or Shark. Captain Cropp also charters day trips to the abandoned barrier islands to enjoy shelling, bird watching, and fabulous scenic views.
Historic Cape Charles is the best-kept secret on the Eastern Shore, with the most amazing sunsets, fishing, birdwatching, canoeing, kayaking, biking, or simply relaxing to your favorite book with your feet in the sand. There are also many wonderful restaurants and fun shops in downtown Cape Charles.
