Lovely house

We spent a wonderful two weeks at Le Bousquet. There were plenty of days by the pool, evenings on the terrace, meals out in beautiful villages near by. The house is well equipped, comfortable and beautifully appointed.

The house was beautifully clean, very well maintained and extremely family-friendly. The pool was exceptional, and the location is fantastic, with wonderful views. We had a lovely stay and the property itself really is beautiful.The only aspect I would reconsider is the amount of work expected from guests at check-out. Of course, I completely agree that a holiday home should be left tidy and treated with respect, and during our stay we made sure to keep both the house and pool clean and to dispose of rubbish regularly.However, considering the cost of a week’s stay, which was over 4,000, I would expect the final cleaning and organisation to be handled by the property management. Having to strip the beds, collect used linen and towels, and also take the final rubbish to bins that are not particularly close to the house felt a little excessive, especially with a 10 a.m. check-out.I think it would be perfectly reasonable to ask guests to leave the property tidy, but at this price point, dealing with the final laundry and rubbish is something I would expect to be included in the service.That said, this is a relatively small criticism of an otherwise excellent property. The house is gorgeous, the views are fantastic, and the pool was so good that I genuinely wish I were still there.

This is an ideal property to stay at for a family or larger group. Has extensive amenties and situated in a beautiful spot.
