The neighborhood
Loft 268 is in the Romantic Zone, also known as Old Town—Puerto Vallarta’s most lively and walkable neighborhood. The area is filled with local cafés, art galleries, bars, and some of the city’s best dining options.

Basilio Badillo Street, known as “Restaurant Row,” is just one block away and offers an incredible variety of restaurants and nightlife.

Los Muertos Beach is only a short walk from the condo, where you’ll find beachfront restaurants, bars, and activities such as parasailing, jet skiing, banana boat rides, and flyboarding.

Security
Loft 268 is a secure, gated building with 24/7 onsite security and surveillance cameras throughout the property. Guests can view and communicate with visitors through the condo’s video entry system before granting access. The building and surrounding neighborhood are considered very safe.

Guest Interaction
A member of our team will personally greet you at the building for check-in. During your stay, we are available 24/7 by phone or text, and our local office is conveniently located just one block away.

Guest Access and Building Amenities
Guests have full access to the condo and common areas during the following hours:
• Rooftop access: 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM daily
• Gym hours: 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM (maximum of 2 guests at a time; reservations required)
• Pool maintenance: Wednesdays until 1:00 PM
• Rooftop bar: Open daily from 12:30 PM – 7:30 PM (opens at 1:00 PM on Wednesdays due to rooftop cleaning)

Additional Building Policies:
• A maximum of two visitors per unit are permitted in common areas from 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Visitors must register and provide valid identification upon arrival
• Guests are required to wear provided wristbands while using building amenities

Getting Around
A car is not necessary to enjoy downtown Puerto Vallarta. Loft 268 is centrally located with flat, walkable streets and easy access to restaurants, beaches, shopping, and entertainment. Uber, taxis, and public transportation are readily available nearby.

• Wristbands are required for access to common areas and will be provided at check-in
• Weekly housekeeping service is included for stays of 7 nights or longer

This place was fantastic! Great location, modern amenities, very clean, easy check in and out process, great air conditioning and luxurious rooftop pool! The only negatives were no filtered water in this unit (we stayed in unit next door previously and it had double filtered water which was so nice) and there were quite a few noisy and splashy kids staying in condo building in the pool during our stay. Overall, a great condo in an excellent location!

We loved this location... short walking distance to the local gym, beach, restaurants, and shops. The unit has great layout and the bed was super comfy. Partial views off the patio are amazing and enjoyed every morning with coffee. Rooftop pool has an even better view and tranquil surroundings. We would book here again.

An amazing condo in the best location

Been to PV many times and this was a new building for me. It was amazing. Clean. Modern. Well maintained. Rooftop pool was great to relax. Oh and the bed was SO SO comfortable. 100% would recommend.

Beautiful condo!

Such a beautiful place with everything you could need in it. The view was incredible looking at all the condos on the hill and down the streets and the ocean. The rooftop pool was amazing and so clean. My husband and I have been to a lot of places but this was fantastic. You stepped out side and anywhere you turned there was a bar or a restaurant or a bakery or a coffee shop… We absolutely loved it. The only drawback is it isn’t on the water but we went and rented beach chairs a couple days which wasn’t anything at all really.

Great Modern Place in Old Town

We didn't stay at Loft 268 as we spouse to due rooftop-swimming pool maintenance scheduled during our stay. After few emails before arrival to PV we have been moved to neighboring brand new modern condo at Pavilion. Mr. Ricardo from Lifestyle Properties PV super nice guy :) great to deal with, very prompt returning my phone calls (even on Sundays). Both condos Loft 268 and Pavilion are in the center of PV busy whole week night clubs, so if you looking for a good night sleep look somewhere else. Other than laud music from clubs and street noise (lot of new construction around) these condos are super nice! Beautifully decorated inside and out, we loved it! One quirk... we were a bit unlucky during our stay at Pavilion, building management closed access to swimming area on the rooftop and this is out of control for Lifestyle Properties PV (not much they could do about it). So check with renters before reservation if they know if there is a plan for scheduled maintenance during your stay. Yes, I am recommending both condos!

Disappointed Stay

We have been visiting Puerto Vallarta for nearly 20 years and have stayed at countless places. Our stays are usually great and the condos we rent are exactly as described; however, this time was disappointing. First of all the photos on VRBO of the property showing a beautiful ocean view from the balcony was not updated since there is now a large condo blocking 80% of the ocean view. Secondly, there was a large amount of noise since the pool area was being maintenanced during most of our stay. Third, the pool area was not open and even though we were told it would reopen on Oct 30th, it didn't reopen until Nov 2nd in the evening, so we lost the majority best part of the condo for the majority of our stay. I would not stay at this location again, especially for the high price we paid compared to many other properties that are cheaper and we've had no problems with. I hate to leave a bad review since this is the first one I've left, but it really was very disappointing overall.

We understand your concern about the changing landscape around the property. The Romantic Zone area is indeed experiencing rapid growth, with numerous condo developments underway. Unfortunately, these developments are beyond our control, and their progress can sometimes impact the views of the existing condos. Regarding the issue with the ocean view, we want to clarify that while there has been a change in the surrounding area, the obstruction is not as substantial as indicated. The new building in the adjacent block does alter the view to some extent, but it is not to the extent of 80%. We acknowledge the need for updated photos to accurately reflect the current state, and we are actively working on ensuring that these changes are reflected in our property listing. We also understand the frustration caused by the pool maintenance during your stay. It's important to note that this information was communicated in our listing, and we provided discounted rates during this period. Relaxation and Renewal

It is an amazing property and Aurora is the best. Felt right at home when she checked me in and gave me a tour of the apartment and I didn't feel rush. Whatever you think you need, it is there-just look, even laundry detergent. The communication was above and beyond to the point, almost down to minute of arrival. Pool is amazing, views as well and the building is incredibly clean. I would definitely stay here again. You are in area where there are clubs but it never bothered me once i closed the doors and especially when i went to bed because the bedroom is more interior. The noise is not the problem of the building though and again, I would stay here again without hesitation.

We loved this stay!

This is our third stay in this building and the first in this apartment. What an amazing place - views of of the ocean, super comfortable couch and bed, everything we needed to settle in and have a great time. The pool in this building is beautiful. This unit is in the middle of Zona Rosa - a 5 minute walk to clubs, restaurants, Starbucks, and even a small grocery store. The location is absolutely perfect. The property manager was awesome. She helped us set up transportation from the airport (which we recommend) and met us to get us settled into the apartment. Seamless and top service all the way. Thank you again, we will be back!

Beautiful Property Great Location

The hospitality, graciousness, genuine care and consideration of Denise was flawless. She made herself available and responded timely whenever I needed anything at all; I will never forget her. Our stay at the Lofts was comfortable, and enjoyable; unfortunately there was one exception. A very conflicted security guard who went out of his way to attempt to make our experience less than enjoyable (Gerardo Guerrero). I refuse to be negative about this lovely property, because of one conflicted man’s psychological state and unprofessionalism; however, he is the ONLY reason I did not give this property a five star rating. Nevertheless, I HIGHLY recommend staying at the Lofts of your in PV ♥️

Great view, location and clean!!!

Property is in the heart of Romantic Zone, balcony has a good view of the ocean although a few blocks from beach. Many great restaurants and bars within a few blocks. Building is newer, clean and secure. Pool/spa area on roof is beautiful with amazing views. Highly recommend and hope to come back here soon.

Great location and beautiful condo

This condo's location is perfect with great restaurants around and a short walk to the beach. The rooftop is also beautiful with a nice big pool. The pool was a bit chilly but refreshing from sitting in the sun. Our only complaint would be the strictness of the rules on the rooftop. There were a lot of rules, which we have never experienced at other condos.

Wonderful Trip

My husband and I go to PV every year to escape the gloom of Seattle winter. We’ve stayed at many different places over the years but this is definitely one of the best. We had a fantastic view, the pool on the roof was great, and they had a well appointed gym. The unit itself was decorated beautifully and I can’t tell you how great it is to have access to Netflix when you want to take a break from the sun. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice condo building but the expansive rules enforced are too much

Overall this was a nice condo and the staff at Vbro were great. No issues with checking in or out. Condo staff were professional. When you check in they give you two pages of rules, which at the time you think is great, because I wanted to stay in a nice, quiet place without loud parties etc., but the details of the rules are crazy and they are struck enforced with security. For example you cannot move your lounge chair in any direction or guard will come up and move it back. A friend of ours was lounging on the pool deck because there were no chairs and a guard said you can’t lounge there, but after resisting they didn’t enforce. Also you cannot drink any beverages on your cabana because they are afraid of spills. So you must get up from your lounger take a drink and they you are permitted to sit down. We saw this enforced numerous times. After several days there we got to know some of the other guests and they were all talking about all the rules this condo has in place - too much. Also anytime a guest comes to visit, even if it is for a few minutes they must leave their drivers license at the front desk and remember to pick it up. There are too many other condo choices in PV to ever stay here again.

A Great Stay

This is a very well designed and appointed apartment in the heart of the Romantic Zone. The public areas are still getting some final touches but all of the main uses (including the beautiful pool and club house on the roof) are very nice and well maintained. I will definitely look to stay here again on a future trip.
