You come to the Cape for the beach … so why not stay just steps away? This charming two bedroom one bath cottage on a quiet cul-de-sac is just steps from Keyes Memorial Beach. It sleeps up to 6 on 1 king, 2 twins and 1 queen pull-out sleeper sofa. The perfect location for enjoying the beach, shopping, dining, or simply getting some rest and relaxation.

Upon entry, the first thing you'll notice is the cathedral ceiling which opens up the bright airy living space where we have carried the feel if the Cape into and throughout the cottage. The Jack & Jill bathroom can be accessed from either bedroom and towels and linens are provided.

The fully equipped kitchen makes home meal preparation practical, efficient, and affordable. Whether grabbing a quick bowl of cereal for breakfast at the kitchen table, or enjoying steaks grilled to perfection on your own private patio, this cottage will be your vacation home away from home. For those who prefer fine dining, the restaurants and activities of historic downtown Hyannis are just a mile away.

Centrally situated on Cape Cod it is ideal for day trips anywhere on the Cape all the way up to Provincetown. The Ferries to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket are also close by.

This vacation home has many extras from an in-ground heated pool (seasonal), to WiFi to help you stay connected, and a dedicated parking space.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please place any used towels and place in the bathtub
Remove any leftover food and drink and empty the trash into dumpster in the rear lot.
Turn off all lights. Close and lock the door. Please hold door firmly closed while pushing the lock icon on the Schlage keypad. Wait for the blue check to appear and confirm that the door is locked.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This small but spacious cottage was stocked with everything we needed…a complete kitchen, nice linens, very helpful instructions for using the tv (much appreciated!). Everything was spotless! Our January stay was sensational to finally see Cape Cod and Nantucket. To that end we could have used plowing/shoveling in advance of our arrival along with ice melt because the walkway was dangerously iced over. The parking lot was plowed so we were all set not long after arrival. Comfortable amenities and we had all we needed for a weekend to walk the beach and explore downtown Hyannis and walk to the Ferry terminal.

Great week on the Cape!

This was our third time staying at Steve’s cottage. It has been wonderful each time. The property is maintained well and very clean. Perfect location to walk to the beach, use the community pool and shop/dine on Main Street Hyannis. Steve is very prompt to respond and checks in with us to make sure our stay is perfect. Breakwater beach house

We loved the location, especially right by the beach. The house eas a bit small for 3 adults and a toddler, but we made it work. The owner responded immediately when we needed towels and recmmendations. Its great for a couple and 2 children.

Why they chose this property

I first stayed at The Breakwaters more than 30 years and loved it so much that I have stayed many times since. So much so, that I was finally able to purchase this cottage in December of 2018.

Since purchasing this property I have repainted the interior, renovated the kitchen and bathroom, restored the original wood floors in the living room and bedrooms, purchased new furniture throughout, and resided the exterior.
