About this property

Lone Jack Cabin - Studio Suite

Beautiful private log cabin suite, conveniently located just east of the Kansas City Metro with great highway access. Close to wedding venues: Lone Summit Ranch, Powell Gardens and Stonehaus Winery. All the comforts of home! The suite features a king bed, sitting area with gas fireplace, private bath with shower, whirlpool jetted tub and kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a full-size refrigerator, small stove/oven, microwave and sink. Electric grill on private deck.

The cabin has 2 separate and private units for guest usage. There is a locked door between this suite and the other 2 bedroom unit. If both units are rented then the door can be unlocked so you can access both sides.
There is a lower level that houses a med spa. The lower
level does not have access to the Studio Suite or the other 2 bedroom unit.

Other things of note:
We do not allow pets.

This was a dream getaway!! Went with my partner for a concert and this was a perfect place to stay while traveling, the space was clean, plenty of towels for the bathroom, ice trays in the freezer, excellent amenities, and a comfortable place to sleep at the end of a long day! I will recommend this spot for anyone I know in need of a nice place to stay just outside of Kansas City.

nice place to get away for the weekend.....a lot of road noise.....we rented the studio suite and whoever was in the main cabin was very loud late at night...no respect for other renters. cabin was clean and cozy

Perfect For Us

We stayed here while attending a horse clinic at Sitter Downs arena. It kept us close to our horses and provided a good night’s sleep. Super clean. Very hot water. Gracious host. Thank you!

Unplug and unwind

My partner and I stayed on the property for 4 days and enjoyed every minute of it. We were looking to spend some quality time with each other, unplug and unwind. We stopped by the grocery store on our way there in Lee’s Summit and got all our supplies so we wouldn’t need to leave the cabin once we arrived. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for those four days (to include a grill, which my partner made a delicious steak dinner!) The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had prior to and after arriving at the cabin. We really enjoyed our time there and look forward to returning some time in the future. Thank you!

Perfect Studio Cabin for Two

This property is nearly perfect. Everything was wonderful from the mini kitchen with a full size fridge and the tiniest working stove with oven that I have ever seen. The king bed was comfortable. Wifi and streaming were great. The shower is kind of small but there is a large jetted tub. The water is nice and hot but you do need to let it run for awhile. We sat on the small balcony and watched fireworks displays on the 3rd, 4th and 5th. My only complaint was traffic noise from Hwy 50. Having read previous reviews, I brought a white noise machine and that did the trick.

Great stay

Needed a place for a week close to Lee's Summit/KC area for various appointments. This place was absolutely perfect! It was located close enough to be able to get around and do things. The cabin is really cute and cozy.

Family Holiday

This is the second year we've stayed at this cabin. We rented both the units, which worked out great because we needed the extra beds. The units are clean, comfortable and close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc.

Nice cabin not far from the City

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here in this rustic and charming cabin. Overall it was very clean but I did see a few small spiderwebs in the rafters - that’s the reason for the four stars. I can appreciate how it would be hard to clean up there and they didn’t really bother me. Like I said , it was a lovely place to stay - conveniently close to the city, but without the city hassles of parking and security. Would stay here again!

Beautiful Cabin

Cabin was beautiful. Noisy outside with highway being so close. Had problems with ac, Wi-Fi and tv but other then that it was a great weekend away.

Fantastic trip away

This place was absolutely perfect for just needing to get away for the weekend. The jetted tub was the perfect way to relax at the end of the night, the bed was fantastic and huge, and the whole place was incredibly cozy. It being isolated meant you didn't deal with a lot of outside noise and the traffic noise from the highway was kind of relaxing for me at least, even when we were sitting outside. Would definitely stay again if in the area!
