Lura was an excellent host through reservation process to checkin. She was welcoming and detailed in instructions of anything we needed to know to be comfortable at the cabin.The cabin itself is exceptionally clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped with anything you might need. We all decided it is our favorite cabin of all we have stayed in due to the peaceful location overlooking the lake, beautiful views, and a cabin you could call home even for a weekend.

Beautiful area and place to stay. Out in the country, but still close enough to Pilot Mountain and Mount Airy. Plus, a pond to fish. What more could you ask for!

This is definitely a 5 star stay in my opinion. It’s private, clean, relaxing, the cabin had everything we needed the bed was comfy the shower was great. The caretaker is the sweetest lady. I will most certainly be back to stay at this little gem!

Everything was lovely. Beautiful property and cabin. Husband caught several fish. Very close to several State Parks and recreation of Mayberry. Enjoyed our stay very much. Need to bring the grandkids next time! Thank You Ladies for a great time

Breathtakingly beautiful, peaceful, and serene. Sunrises and sunsets over the pond and hills and forests were stunning. The cabin felt brand new, everything worked great, beds were excellent, and the huge front porch and rocking chairs put you right in that North Carolina country “kick back and relax” feeling. Access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is right there and we cruised up and down the parkway to vineyards, gift shops, antique shops, and restaurants. What a fun week we had. We sure hope to be back some day.

The cabin was exactly as described, clean and extremely well stocked with everything we needed. The host was very receptive to our questions and check-in was great. We had a very relaxing, peaceful time visiting with our family. We loved seeing the deer! We look forward to staying here again in the future :)

What an amazing place! The cabin was clean and cozy, making our stay very comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the fire pit and the pond, and we appreciated how well maintained the lawn and grounds were. We will definitely be back!
