Location was ideal, just steps from the beach,and very convenient neighborhood restaurants, shops and grocery store. The host was very welcoming and responsive. Cottage is beautifully decorated and very clean.We had everything we needed during our stay.

Incredible little place just a short walk from the beach! Only had one question while we stayed here, and it was answered within minutes via text. Wonderful memories of a family wedding weekend at the Merry Maid!

Loved the house, Jenny was a great host. would highly recommend staying again. we stayed during the heat wave, and had no air conditioning, but Jenny offered to buy us fans for the house but we're out of stock due today time of year.

Great location! This home is perfectlyLocated for our families activities. Walk to the beach, nearby park, restaurants and even the boardwalk. Home has many great local touches from coffee mugs to pictures that make it feel much more like a home instead of the typical vrbo rental. Host is great to communicate with and checked in on us several times to make sure our needs were met. Will definitely try to stay here again next time we are in the area.

This is a beautiful cottage just a block or so from the beach. It can accommodate 2-4 persons easily and has a futon for an extra bed. Everything in this house was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The kitchen served us well with many amenities. It was a delight to stay here...... I highly recommend this property.

Amazing Stay at the Merry Mermaid

Everything about our stay here was amazing. The location near the beach, having our dog with us, the house itself is adorable. Our host Jenny checked in right away and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Great girls trip!

We do a yearly girls trip and this year chose Ventura to go to the Channel Islands. This place was GREAT! Easy access to the beach and restaurants! Host was very kind and responsive!

Cozy beach bungalow

My family and I stayed at the Merry Mermaid while in town for a wedding. The space was so cozy and inviting, and stayed cool with constant sun. Walking to the beach every morning was a huge highlight, and the beds were very comfortable as well! Hoping to get back here again some day.
