Beautiful, recently renovated, 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 full bath beach cottage located on Old Post Road in Westerly. The cottage is located in the secluded cottage village of The Pine Lodge, nestled between the Connecticut Casinos and the grand mansions of Newport. The cottage is situated on nine acres of wooded privacy. The cottage is 5 min to the premier surfing and surf casting beaches on the east coast. You can just go to the beach and bask in the sun as well. Fun and relaxation is the order of the day. Experience Rhode Island's world class sport fishing from the deck of a charter boat, or enjoy the sunrise at Weepapaug Beach then take the ferry to Block Island for a day of site seeing. This unit is a lovely beach cottage in what is essentially a bungalow colony. Lovely playground for the kids with tetherball, swing set, bball court, and horseshoes. So much done to maximize space and efficiency in the cottage. Ample seating, yard…it’s just a great place. Vince is a great host, and he has a lovely place.

Our stay was excellent. I am used to staying close to the beach but went off the beaten path and im glad i did. The cottage offered everything we needed plus more. We loved the fire pit and the grills the back yard is beautiful. I would and will be going again.

This cottage was a wonderful home base for our week at the beach, with all the amenities you could need. Though the weather was a bit hot for us during the week we stayed, the yard provides a really nice gathering place.

The home was described very well and was found well stocked and very comfortable. I appreciate the clear and open communication that we experienced with our host and the ease check in. We loved this house and thought it fit our needs perfectly! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for our quick weekend getaway. The hosts had even decorated nicely for fall giving the house a very homey and welcoming feel. We loved staying here!

FANTASTIC! The cottage is very comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised. The pictures do not do it justice. Our pups enjoyed it as well. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower with warm water. We will be coming back again soon!!
